Excellent from start to finish. I had my surgery (gastric sleeve ) 2 years ago with surgeon Mr. Guy Slater. My starting weight was nearly 128kg, I am now 70kg. With a total loss of 58-60kg. The support through the 2 years was unbelievable and I do not think I could achieve that without the support of my dietitian Nicole. The surgery went very well, and my incisions healed quickly without any issues. I can barely even see them now. It is a tough journey but totally life-changing. I can enjoy life once again, it is like getting second chance. If anyone is thinking of having surgery in the UK then Streamline is your company. They will look after you very well.

Being menopausal my fat distribution has changed and I was concern about what this was doing to my internal organs.

I can not recommend Streamline enough! They are amazing at what they do, how they care for you after your surgery. Nothing is missed and nothing is too big or too small, they answered every question I had. Put me at ease before, day of and after my surgery. Dr. Shaw Somers is truly the best in the game and I can not thank him enough - I had my gastric sleeve done in June 2023 and I wish I had done it sooner but I am so so happy I went for it, if you are thinking about having weight loss surgery - do it! It had taken me 2 years to find the right surgeon, as soon as I spoke to Dr Nick Carter I knew I wanted him to perform my gastric sleeve surgery. He went through everything with me so I understood. He answered all my questions and I was booked in within 8 weeks at the one clinic in Hatfield throgh streamline. Streamline have be brilliant and the aftercare I am receiving is brilliant.
Everyone at the clinic were amazing and I had nothing to worry about. Dr Carter preform my gastric surgery easily without any problems.
I'm now 3 weeks post op and recovery is getting better and better.
I hugely recommend Dr Carter, streamline and the one clinic for my amazing care.

From start to end the whole experience was been amazing. My surgeon Nick Carter was amazing at explaining the process, risks, advantages and likely outcomes. I felt immediately at ease and comfortable.
My dietitian, George Hamlyn Williams, has been amazing. His friendly, professional demeanour reassured me and helped us create a great relationship where I felt comfortable to talk about my successes and crucial my challenges and struggles in a safe space. George was very knowledgable and empowered me to discuss every detail of my diet and the changes I was going through over the past two years. I wouldn’t have had the success I have (over 10stone lost!) without his support and encouragement. Thank you to everyone who has helped me on this journey.

From start to finish, this has been an incredibly positive experience. At every turn, every member of staff from admin to medical teams have been helpful, reassuring, and caring.
I have met people via online support groups who had surgery same time as me but with other companies, and they have not received anywhere near the same level of care I have - before, during, or after!

Nick Carter was my surgeon and a fun guy to known that talk you through what will happening.

Mr Somers is the best Bariatric surgeon. I had my laparoscopy done by him; was able to move day 2 after my surgery, minimum pain which was controlled by normal painkillers. He is very professional, caring, knowledgeable and very much skilled in his job. Strongly recommend him and am forever grateful to him. Thank you to Streamline and Clementine and Churchill hospital in Harrow for their before and after care.

From the first point of contact, any question I asked was answered extremely well.

The clinicians are personable, kind and supportive, I felt cared for.

Every aspect of the process was explained, at no time did I feel rushed.

Seamless and stress free experience. I was worried about the process and the surgery however Streamline Surgical made this, quite literally, pain free.

I had a VSG in March 2022 with Nick Carter. I was very anxious to undergo surgery but with support and reassurance my experience had been life changing. I’ve lost 5st 5lbs, my health has improved dramatically. The aftercare has been good, but admin can sometimes be erratic (we always got there in the end) I do feel that sometimes the aftercare was just a box ticking exercise but I also think that as a patient you have a responsibility to manage your self care. I had no complications or issues so felt I didn’t need much aftercare, however knowing Streamline are at the end of a phone gives peace of mind. Would highly recommend Streamline to anyone considering bariatric surgery, just don’t keep waiting - go for it.

From my very first enquiry about surgery to my sign off with my surgeon, Streamline have been amazing.
I have lost over 16 stone in two years with a gastric bypass performed by Mr Aruna Munasinghe.
The professionalism and care Mr Munasinghe (surgeon) provides is second to none.
My dietitian Nicole has been there for me through every step - going through trauma just over a year into my journey - providing guidance through the situation as well as helping me stay on track.
General help from admin etc has also been an amazing part of the journey and they can’t do enough to help!

Prior to having my surgery, I had high blood pressure, borderline high cholesterol due to my weight/lifestyle.

I had the VSG surgery in July 2023. My medical team was fantastic (Mr Slater - my consultant) was amazing. I made him aware of my concerns before the surgery and he reassured me that I will be safe in his hands.

I was set a target weight loss to be achieved within 12 months, however, I achieved it within 6 months post-op.

Less than one month post-surgery I was taken off high blood pressure medication and my cholesterol is now normal. I went from a size 22 to now between size 12/14 and still losing weight at a very steady pace. I have regular follow-up meetings with my dietician (Sophie) and exercise physiologist (Jack) to ensure everything is going as it should. Steamline Surgical staff are always available if I have any questions.

I wish I did this many years ago as having the surgery with Streamline has changed my life for the better.

I had a fall was told to lose a lot of weight. Weight you couldn't lose quickly alone so had the gastric sleeve surgery may 23 . Streamline will rush you will push so many appointments on you will then take 12.000gbp from you for the sleeve qnd all of 18 hours of care .

Send you home without any tests .... where my story goes wrong ......
For the first week it was fine then I started vomiting couldn't keep anything down . There dietitian said just keep trying ... ending in an emergency call to 111 qnd being admitted to hospital. My surgeon didn't have the time for me so after an ct there was a hole in my tummy leaking infection into my body . The dietitian nearly killed me telling me to eat ....
12 days in a hospital 10 miles away has caused ptsd and depression
I've not heard from streamline since and I'm thinking of seeing.
No apology and the poor nhs had to take over my care

Do not use these people 🙄 I've been through hell. I want my money back for loose of earnings and family trauma

What can I say? A life giving experience carried out by a caring and professional team. From the initial enquiry, appointments with nurses, psychologists, the actual surgical procedure to the after care with the dietitian and physiologist.

I could not be any happier, losing 11 stone in 8 months after a mini gastric bypass has changed my life and I cannot thank the whole of the Streamline team enough.

From my initial video call with Mr Guy Slater I knew I would be in safe hands. He explained my procedure in detail and filled me with confidence. He is a very experienced surgeon and performed my gastric bypass perfectly. The aftercare is amazing, particularly the regular video calls with my Dietician, George, who has a wealth of knowledge and understanding. He genuinely shares in my success and his advice is invaluable through my new relationship with food and ongoing amazing weight loss. Streamline made me feel safe and truly cared for. When I made my decision to undertake bariatric surgery I was hopeful but sceptical. Yet two years later I'm now a size 10 and with a significantly better relationship with food. All of the staff at Streamline are supportive, non-jugemental and life changers. The dieticians are like counsellors and behavioral therapists. I will be eternally grateful for their help as they didn't just change mine and my husband's (he got the surgery too) life they changed my children's lives too. Trust them.

The surgery itself I have no issues with. George my dietitian was fabulous. However the aftercare team and the other dietitians were poor.
