First of all i love stremio and i have it installed in every device (my pc,tablet ,phone and tv) but the experience varies device to device.
1. stremio on pc is great , i havent had a single problem since i started using it. the ui the experience everything is really good . The only thing it lacks is tracking service (myanimelist,anilist,imdb etc tracking inside app to the account in respective site ).
2.Stremio on Android tablet is not really a great experience , not because its lacking functionality but because of the ui , its not really practical for big tablet , the app doesnt even support side bar for tablet, most people hold tablet sideways but the app uses bottom bar (same as mobile) which is hard to reach and sometimes have mistouches on the navigation bar on tablet .The tablet app doesnt even show backgroung images in a show page .I was hoping for the web ui to be implemented in the app for tablet but been waiting for a long time but no luck.
3.on phone the app is really snappy and good i love all aspects of it except the player , there is no chapter indicator on the videos that have chapters embedded ,there is no subtitle customisation,there are no swipe gestures etc.
4. i have no complaints for the tv app since only my family members use it and they have faced no problem with the app and they ae quite happy with the experience and ease of use .

I've used Stremio for many years, never had any issues, regularly updated. Can't sing the developers praises enough!

It's all I wanted. The experience is great.

Only issue i have is that the subs are almost always not synced in greek language.

Stremio is one of the best if not the best streaming solution out there for all kinds of users as it is present on almost all platforms. Kudos to the team behind stremio for not making it a money hogging creature and instead creating something really valuable for the community.

One of the best app I have ever came across. It's so simple and effective to use. But you have to know what you're doing. So do your homework. Once it's done you'll never be looking back at any other. What's more is the devs are very helpful and approachable.

Just research a little bit of the app and do not let it scare you as it's very simple to use with great UI and smooth to use. The cross platforming is a great addition.

Stremio is the best media platform out there. Easy to use and has excellent features with an excellent development team behind it.

Excellent streaming app but you might need some community add-ons to get the full potential of it. There are tons of help and guides in r/Stremio and r/r/StremioAddons on Reddit

Best app ever, legit such a seamless experience it’s crazy. Plus with it being on Samsung OS it’s so convenient thank you devs yall rock keep it up and if you’re debating on trusting them just do it!

If you know what you're doing then Stremio is great. Everything in one place, it just works really well when you have the right setup, which is not even that hard to do, you just have to make the leap and pair it with Real Debrid or similar.

This review is about the Android phone app; whilst it is intuative, pleasant to look at and easy to navigate; in my experience there are some things that could be improved.
(mainly to do with casting and UX - this is my critique for quality of life improvement to make the app even better, just little annoyances I've found in my years of continued, daily use that hopefully the devs will take not of)

When casting, episodes don't get automatically marked as watched.

You can't mark an entire season as watched, just individual episodes one at a time.

There isn't a cast button on the episode list page. The cast button is on the board page and when you play, I feel it dissapeares on the most relevant pages - when you get into a series menu and in on the library page, the place where you're choosing what to watch. If you have casting issues you have to go back 4 levels.

I'd like to be able to choose a default library i.e. Series or Movies - 99.9% of the time I'm watching a series, yet Movies is the default.

There could have better Trakt communication as I believe it is one way - this doesn't bother me too much as this is the only app I use but for somebody trying out Stremio in comparison with other apps, this could be off putting.

Choosing subtitles could be better when casting as it stops and reloads the stream, it does this again if you need to adjust the offset, which can take some trial and error.

Pausing when casting is a bit broken, when you resume the stream video will break whilst the audio continues, the workaround is to use the go back 15s instead of the play button.

The Android TV apo does away with most of these issues and offers a more seamless experience. It would be good if casting went to the Stremio TV app instead of the Default Media Reciever which could posdibly solve most of my minor complaints.

Even so, Stremio is a fantastic app and I've found that it works really well for me as a tech literate cheapskate - initially it wasn't my first choice of streaming app but the other app's subscription model put me off. Stremio has won me over and been reliable ever since.

Would I set up friends or family who aren't as tech literate? Maybe. It's not like apps from several years ago where the streams would get blocked but it would not be without a little support, probably just getting them to renew their bi-annual RD subscription, explaining why they shouldn't choose a 14GB file or that they might need to try a few different streams occasionally.
If you are aware of what torrents are you're doing or at least are willing to learn you'll be fine and Stremio will be great for you!

Great app community and service

Have been using for years, really like it and have set it up for all my family.
Tons of addons and awesome community.
Frequent updates and new features.

Great overall experience. Developers who seem to care and even rehauled their UI recently much to my appreciation. 5 stars, use it almost everyday.

This app has changed my life!

Can view everything everywhere!

This is dream application with wonderful community and wonderful add-ons and all for free and open source
