I ordered a sliding screen to stop insects, especially spiders, entering the bedroom, and received 1st class service. I went and collected the screen as I don't live that far away and from ordering to collection was about a week to ten days. We fitted the screen ourselves and it was perfect, really good quality and smooth on the runners. I was so pleased with it that I ordered another one the same for the other bedroom a month later. At last, I can open the windows wide on summer nights without worrying about invading bugs. Friendly, efficient service, excellent product.

We have three house cats and find these screens invaluable in keeping them safe whilst providing us with fresh air!
We had a lot in our last house but, having just moved, I've been kitting us out again.
We always go for the made to measure option with the magnetic fixing. They are simple to fit, easy to use and the quality is really good.
I definitely recommend.

Had the fitted service for pet screens and when they came to measure never explained that the screen doors wouldn't close unless the windows and patio doors were open so the screens just hang open.

Very expensive for what was done so not recommend Serene use other fitters for pet or insect screens

These have been fantastic in the heat for our indoor cats, I highly recommend the pet screens. I bought more and I am thinking of adding even more to the house.

Pretty good mark up on the postage I think.
Would of taken 10 seconds to pack.

My wife purchased this sliding fly screen. It was delivered promptly and well packed.
I issue is with the difficulty of assembly, the poor instructions and time required.
I am technically competent with with an engineering background and without my workshop tools would have not been able to complete.
First issue is cutting an accurate 45 degree mitre 8 times to get the door to correct size. Cutting the aluminum frame leaves a sharp burr which needs a needle file to remove from all the profiles, this then leaves a bare unpainted mitre joint.
I am fortunate in having a power mitre saw but anyone trying to use a hacksaw would make a mess.
The joints are held together with an internal bracket which requires drilling and a self tapping screw to hold together.
To fit the rollers, another 2 holes need drilling and then the retaining pin/axle has to be screwed into the frame.
The whole assembly took almost 3hrs.
This is not suitable for most people to assemble and should be made clear in the advertising.
I would definitely not reccomend this.

We live in the country and added a sunroom to our house 3 years ago. Every summer we were plagued by flies, especially horse flies. They would fly in and couldn’t get back out as they fly up to the glass roof. We would also get bees and butterflies as well. I didn’t really want to use screens as it would hinder our view, but the flies were driving us crazy. We invested in a 2 metre width of fly chain which was just over 2 metres long as well. It’s been a godsend. So far, not a single fly has come through it. Our cat and dog can come and go through it easily and it’s actually quite relaxing when you are sitting in the room and watching the chain gently moving in the breeze. It’s good quality, easy to install and we can easily lift it off and put it away in its original box for the winter months.

Communication was extremely good before our purchase of 2 custom fit Roller fly screens. The quality of the blinds is superb and very professionally made, The cassette size is just perfect and sits neatly behind our Roman blinds. Finally fresh air but most of all no more bites from those pesky midges and mosquito's. We will be purchasing one for our conservatory door too. Thank you so much Streme.

The fitter didn't measure properly and the door only slides halfway, so I can never clean the window and it's filthy. He became quite threatening when I told him it wasn't going to work. He argued and argued and took no responsibility for the mistake he'd made. I just wanted him out of my house because I'm a woman and was alone. Streme took no responsibility and now I'm stuck with a screen that doesn't move and a dirty window.

We needed four door screens for our garden room, and Alex at Streme was so very patient, professional and helpful. I'm really grateful to her for that. The two screens we've fitted look amazing and we're very pleased. Just two more to go :)

Just had some pet screens fitted. I opted for the fitting service. Dave the fitter called within hours of my enquiry and came the same week to measure up. 2 weeks later all fitted. They look great blend into the window nicely. Added advantage will keep the flys out too. Would definitely recommend.

I would advise against making a purchase from here.
Whilst being nice people, it was THE most stressful, and ludicrously complicated purchase last year.. If not the last 6 years.

And that includes getting a new kitchen and wardrobes installed with not 1 single bit of stress in a very complicated, several month process!

Not only was the ordering extremely complicated and difficult, making the fly/cat screens was ludicrously hard physically.

I ended up throwing the materials out and getting a cheaper but much easier to instal magnetic fly screen that has been up no problems for 6 months.

I made a mistake on my order (be sure to check if you’re ordering for business or for home on the website!) but Alex was incredibly friendly and helpful in replacing the parts I was missing. My window screens were easy to assemble and will be great for this time of year.

We had some issues with delivery and the instructions desperately need improving but all is well that ends well.

I purchased a pet screen from Streme last year and the quality of the screen is fantastic. It's very sleek and sturdy and even withstands my cats occasional attempts to climb it. There was also a problem where the delivery company had damaged our original screen in transit and Streme immediately arranged a replacement. Thank you!

I ordered a made to measure face fitted screen. First, it be can't be face fitted as my window have an integrated ventilation. They should have asked for more details about the type of window as they are the professionals and advise what kind of screen I should go for regarding the type of window. I then decided to install them in reveal fit, but as they are not the fitting, had to do some DIY.
The side channels came too short, leaving a gap under the cassette or a gap at the bottom of the window frame. Tried to fit it leaving the same gap under the cassette and the bottom of the window but with small gaps not covered with mesh or screen frame made the screen a bit useless.
also while fitting the side channel, plastic became warped while screwing it on the wall.
it is really expensive regarding the poor quality and quite ugly thing as the side channels are too short.
Looks good on the website only. Very disappointed and must be more helpful before ordering about the kind of window you have as it would have save lots of issues.

This is the second DIY window kit I've bought from Streme. These are good quality and well made if rather too expensive for what you get. The first kit I bought had hinge mounting but I changed that to magnetic mounting and bought the mag strip elsewhere. The second kit I bought with mag strip, however, they only include 5 feet of strip, which seems more than a little mean bearing in mind the very high price for the kit. Note that it's also difficult to get a neat finish to the mesh due to the way the plastic splined retainer is pushed into the slot. On the plus side these are robust and will last a couple of years at least.

Edit - Streme responded to my email to them by offering to ship an additional length of magnetic strip so that I can have all four sides attached. Good customer service!

This company would truly get 10 stars if that was humanly possible for me to give.
From their initial brilliant customer service to their fantastic supply and fit service I could not be any happier.
The 7 window fly screens and 1 door fly screen I had measured and fitted by their installer Gary was absolute first class.
This was from the point of contact to the site survey and the installation.

Unfortunately Parcel Force damaged the well packed good in transit but Streme replied same day by phone to my email and will send replacement part. Had a number of other parcels arrived damaged from Parcel Force from other companies.
