Gareth quickly reassured us as to the process of the business and it’s background making us much more confident in buying from the business with a full service and MOT completed and new tyres having been sourced from a private seller who had looked after the car. As a newcomer in the UK and without buying a car experience. I have a significant hesitation about buying a car without help. I had checked with a few dealerships for the vehicles I was interested in, but no one like Gareth Williams truly cared about my concerns, he offered to drive the car to Southampton for the test drive and rearranged his schedules to fit mine. He is a very responsive, knowledgeable and reliable person. He called, emailed and texted the information to ensure I did not miss anything. And patient to listen and speak clearly and slowly to let me understand all procedures for buying a car in the UK. His outstanding and thoughtfulness services really impressed me. Not just to explain the vehicle itself, Gareth walked me through the whole process and thank his teammate Louise arranged the paperwork promptly after I confirmed to buy the car that making everything smooth and easy. Gareth provided some information about car insurance that I could drive right after the purchasing process was completed. Even on his way back home, he sent me the Gap insurance that made me get more coverage on the car. Very responsive when I had a question after owning the car. I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND to anyone.

I’m not one for generally using social media as a platform for making personal recommendations however, given our recent relocation back to the UK I felt obligated to make one exception. As many are aware, the exercise of purchasing and sourcing a car in the UK has becoming far more difficult of late. High demand has led to an upward surge in terms of stock and prices (both in relation to old and new vehicles). It’s an administrative minefield and another layer of stress among all the other issues needing to be dealt with when dealing with a major relocation. As fortune would have it, I was introduced to a gentleman by the name of Gareth Williams. Absolutely outstanding service. Despite my initial skepticism, I was pleasantly surprised and in the end, thankful. We gave Gareth a general spec and price range of what we were looking and left him to it. He could easily have sold us the first vehicle he sourced and we would not have known any better. Instead, he took time to source and inspect a number of vehicles before settling on one which he felt was providing the spec we wanted and at the value required. He handled all the admin for us including any repairs/ updates through to securing the deposit and eventual transfer. He was responsive, enthusiastic and polite through the entire process. If you are in the process of relocating to the UK and require a (good and reliable) car purchase as soon as possible I cannot recommend Gareth highly enough. Car guys generally get a bad rap but in this case I was almost envious of how passionate he was about his work.

I stumbled across an advert on autotrader for a beautiful Audi and contacted the company. Gareth returned my call the same day. Very professional from start to finish- I was hesistant to buy a new car as I haven’t done so in a long while and hearing of other peoples bad experience buying from dealerships and autotrader did put me off. Gareth’s professionalism and knowledge about the car market and the Audi was in depth, all the paperwork was in order. He took the time to sit down without any pressure of me buying the car to just get to know me and what I want in a car. This alone showed he wasn’t in for a quick sale like other dealerships. I inspected the vehicle while Gareth demonstrated and explained the features and any questions I had about the vehicle. He made me feel at ease asking about any questions, I then took the car out for a test drive. He educated me on things I never knew about cars. I cannot thank him enough for making the process of buying a car really easy and stress free for me. He even sorted out the MOT and service and went above and beyond to make the car better for me. I look forward to using Gareth’s business again. He has put faith in me that there are people in the car market industry who genuinely do care about customer service, safety and follows the laws stringently on vehicles. This alone is the reason I would use Strenue Ltd.

I cannot rate this company enough! I believe I couldn’t have found better service anywhere else. I had an Audi to sell and was looking for something smaller. I didn’t really know where to start but I knew what I wanted. I came across Gareth’s company and from then on it was absolutely stress free! Every bit of stress that I had leading up to then was taken away. I had complete confidence in the whole process and in Gareth. He’s very personable and genuine. Gareth reached out to us after we advertised our car for sale on Gumtree. At first I wasn't sure if this was a legitimate business, Gareth was offering us a complete package and I was waiting for a catch.

After discussions with Gareth, I quickly discovered that this was a genuine service helping people to get the right value for their car when they don't have the experience or time to sell it themselves.

I have sold two cars through Gareth, the first of which was sold to the first interested party, which I think is due to the quality advert Gareth created and the checks he does with potential sellers. This reduces the amount of viewings required and time on my side.

The second was slower due to a crowded market but we were able to sell it within our required timeframe and at better value than we would of got if we traded it back in to the dealers.

I can't recommended this service enough for anyone looking to get market value for their car without the hassle of selling it privately (tyre kickers and low-ball offers are taken out of the equation).

The initial advertisement of the vehicle was extremely well informed, pictures were all current and have an excellent view of the vehicle prior to seeing it in person.
I was able to make contact via WhatsApp, which made for a great and straight forward method of discussing the purchase.

Gareth dealt with the sale of my car with the upmost professionalism. He guided me through the entire process, and having not sold a car with outstanding finance before, he took the time to explain every detail to me whenever I needed him to. He was always reachable and on time to any calls or appointments.

My wife was looking to upgrade her car to a smaller and newer city car. She found a nice yellow Fiat that she liked, so next day I paid the reservation fee so that she'd have a chance later in the week to actually see it.
Right after paying, I approached Gareth via WhatsApp and he was very responsive from the get go. We messaged each other throughout the week in regards to our part exchange and sorting out the valuation and I was kept informed daily on any updates. Gareth understood from the start that my work schedule leaves me little to no time to have long conversations on the telephone, so he kept his messages brief and to the point, not overbearing in information, not too succinct or cryptic, just the right amount of conversation, without making me feel like he was pushing or overzealous. In return, I did the same, offering what information he needed as soon as I could.
Upon viewing the car, my wife was invited to a test drive which turned out to be quite extensive and thorough, no rush to do a couple of spins around the town center and be done with. Gareth insisted my wife take her time and get comfortable with the car before making the decision of buying it. He felt genuine and was relatable.
His schedule also worked out perfectly for us, as the only day we could go see the car was on a Sunday, and Gareth was accommodating to that. We also got a chance to meet the previous owner and get a feel for what type of car person he was, which increased our confidence in the purchase.
Gareth gave us a good price on our part exchange, and in half an hour all the paperwork was done and keys were handed over.
On our way home, we equally spoke about the car as well as the purchase experience, which goes to show that the way you are treated as a customer really influences your choice, and we're pleased with what we got and how it was presented to us.
There is no reason why I wouldn't use Gareth's services again in the future. As far as car purchases go, I am happy I found my preferred dealer in him.
