It has been over 10 days since our holiday. I had all the correct documentation and even took out extra insurance. They have not come back to me. No refund. DO NOT use this company. No phone number to contact the company either. I had a visa card credit card, but they did not accept it.

To be clear on our role: StressFreeCarRental.com is a price comparison and booking website, not the car rental company — Centauro is the independent rental company responsible for the vehicle and the collection desk. We've now received written confirmation from Centauro that your vehicle could not be released because a valid, nominated physical Visa or Mastercard credit card was not presented at the desk — a requirement clearly stated in your booking confirmation. As this condition wasn't met, the car rental balance is non-refundable.
That said, we can refund the additional protection premium you purchased with us, as this policy never came into effect.
We understand the frustration of the wait for a clear answer, and we're following up with you directly on your ticket with the details of this refund.
