Helped remove my foot fatigue. Went on vacation with insoles and was able to walk 20,000 steps a day without pain. Previously would have had enough pain to prevent me from sleeping at night.

I am extremely happy with the custom support arches that I ordered. I walk about 15miles a day, so having arch supports that are made specifically for my feet have helped me a lot. The ordering proces... See more

I could give 0 stars if I could

I could give 0 stars if I could. The 1st issue was my initial order, there was no updating my status on when I would receive the insoles. A month and a half later I finally receive them, and they don’t fit. I returned the insoles and followed all instructions. It has been since November that I have been waiting on my return pair (late January now) and they keep dodging my requests for a refund. I am not waiting over 6 months for a pair of insoles. Especially when there has been no communication and poor customer service. I would not recommend these insoles to anyone.

*UPDATE*
The company has since issued a full refund (which I am still awaiting). This occurred after the CEO reached out directly to acknowledge communication failures. The company also flagged this review for containing defamatory content through Trustpilot; after assessment, Trustpilot allowed the review to remain. While the issue was ultimately addressed, the delays and lack of communication made this a poor experience overall.

Thank you for the candid feedback.

As a custom orthotics manufacturer we pride ourselves on high product and customer support standard, and we have let you down.

Unfortunately, due to the government shutdown impacting the postal service and thus our material shipments, we experienced a major slowdown in getting our orders out.

While the situation was out of our control, we should have done a better job of actively informing you of the situation. We have created some additional training for the account managers to prevent this from occurring again.

While we have issued you a full refund, your next pair is in the mail as we speak. If there are any issues with this one, we will make the necessary adjustments and send you another pair without charge.

I will not rest until you have orthotics that you are 100% satisfied with.

Best,
Greg Gerla

Plantar Fasciitis, Hallux Valgus, and Flat Feet - but now I'm walking on cloud nine!

I have the good fortune of having inherited flat feet and hallux valgus. I'm not even 30 years old, am relatively healthy with no chronic health issues and at a normal BMI, but developed plantar fasciitis. Working in the healthcare field, having to stand up on my feet for hours on end, was miserable. My feet would cramp up and I couldn't remove my shoes to massage my feet or else I'd break the sterile field. I tried everything - heel and bunion cushions, cheap Dr. Scholl's, the slightly fancier Dr. Scholl's. Nothing worked. I googled custom orthotics and found a bunch which were hundreds of dollars. I am still paying off my student loans, I don't have $800 to spend on a pair of orthotics. To top it off, all these companies said their insoles were only guaranteed for 30 days. My feet will be fine for 21 days then an issue will crop up on day 22 - I can't time my flares! This wasn't going to work for me. Then I saw Stridesoles. It was a pair of insoles under $200 (on sale) and they were made in Germany using unique technology. I loved how they asked for a video of me walking and didn't just want me to put my foot in a mold. Foot problems aren't always inherent to the sole itself, they can be higher up too - and Stridesoles knew that. The first pair I got were great - I felt an immense improvement - but all of sudden, after 2 months, the cramps came back. So I contacted Stridesoles - and they asked me where the issues remained. I told them and they added more cushioning to the problem areas and sent a new pair back. They wanted me to take my time wearing these new ones - to make sure they were exactly what I needed - then they asked me to send the old ones back. I have had no issues since getting the second pair of insoles. My feet finally do not hurt and I walked around for ELEVEN hours at work the other day without having to constantly shift my weight between my feet due to the pain. This company is built on knowledge, trust, and good customer service. And the results show. I have already bragged about Stridesoles to my coworkers, friends, and family. Grab a pair and see the Stridesoles difference for yourself - you'll wonder why you waited this long!

Amazing inserts

The app was really easy to use. I provided a video of myself walking as well. Within a week of using the inserts my ankle/knee pain went away. I use the inserts in my peleton shoes, lifting shoes and walking shoes. Definitely wish I bought a pair vs one.

Better - and less expensive than podiatrist custom orthotics

I went to the podiatrist who took a 3D image of my foot to make a custom orthotic. He wanted $440 a pair. This seemed crazy to me. I looked up this company, took my own 3D photo of my feet with a friend's iphone, and sent it in. The orthotics are fantastic. I have bunions on both sides of both feet - so the orthotics are built to help my toes align better. I've had a number of other custom orthotics before and these are by far the best.

Don't walk, run!

Last year I was diagnosed with a gnarly case of bilateral Morton's Neuroma and have gotten steroid injections for them. As they haven't fully gone away I also needed a pair of custom made insoles to keep me pain free. Through my insurance and podiatrists office I got a pair made that keep cracking and are currently sent back to the manufacturer, so to be pain free in these instances I started looking into different mail order custom insoles. I got served so many ads for Stride Soles competitors, but I didn't like that you needed to send the foot mold to them, as my podiatrist actually mentioned that these are really tricky to do alone and need to be done in a certain way so that the insoles are made correctly. I almost gave up on getting another pair until one late night I saw a reddit thread that mentioned Stride Soles and after looking into on their website I was sold. They're made in Germany, they use scans, pictures and videos of your feet to create your insoles and they have a 180 day return policy. I placed my order, sent my pictures and my insoles were in my mailbox within 2 weeks. The insoles are amazing, unlike my podiatrist ones which are made of a foam like material, these seem almost 3d printed and are way more durable. I've been using them for over 2 weeks and they show 0 wear and tear (my old ones show cracks after 2 weeks) and they have become my primary insoles.
If you're on the fence, don't walk, run and after you get them you'll be able to walk and run a lot better! I cannot recommend these enough! Cheers! 🥂

Superb fit. I use these ones in my hiking shoes and I really feel a lot better. I have pretty bad plantar fasciitis, especially in the morning hours but it's started to go away.

Happy with the purchase

I have been looking everywhere for orthotics for my cycling shoes. I tried Upstep, but they didn’t fit at all, and then they made me go through an incredibly annoying return process. I told myself I would just go to the podiatrist for my next custom pair, but then my physical therapist told me about Stride.

Great product and service

So pleased with my insoles and the entire process. My first pair wasn't quite right so Stride made sure to correct the areas that needed rearranging and shipped a new pair. They were almost immediately comfortable and corrected my concerns. Excellent communication and service, will definitely be recommending to others!

Fat Pad Atrophy

These custom insoles warrant your serious consideration. Actually, forget the consideration part. You should just buy a pair. You will be amazed. I wish I had looked for them over a year ago when the fat pads in my feet first started to degrade. After just one day of use, I feel I may just have a life again. The service is unparalleled as well. The dedication to customer satisfaction is top-notch! Thank you, Dr. Zac!

So far so good

So far so good! Dr. Cartun has been incredibly responsive over email - like answering all my questions in minutes. He asked for additional photos of my son and identified a need to build up extra to compensate for ankles flaring in. Looking forward to receiving the orthotics and seeing if they relieve the pain. 🤞

An Answer to My Supinated Feet

I’ve been suffering with supination my entire life, which has inhibited me from enjoying normal things pain free like simple walking. After much research and trying store bought insoles, I stumbled upon Stride Soles. Instead of dealing with messy foam molds and having to wait an extremely long time, Stride Soles uses a state of the art 3D imaging app that scans your feet.

It’s really cool and you can view your scan and move it around to see all of the details of the scan. Optionally, you can record a video of you waking to analyze your gait. I highly recommend this because your soles will be more accurately made to conform to your specified needs.

Once done, your scans are sent to expert Podiatrists that create and customize your soles for a perfect fit. The whole process has been amazing and I look forward to buying more for my other footwear and for the rest of my family and friends!
