Civil service employability…

I took the civil service employability course with Steve. It was extremely helpful for me to understand the civil service application process, how I can improve and prepare myself for it, or for any application process in the private sector, really. I enjoyed myself, and feel like this one-week course has been extremely useful! Thank you, Steve and team.

Cyber Security fictional courses

The advertised fictional courses.
I applied to study the cyber security level 3 course, on 27 October 2025. Pass the assessment given the starting date of the cyber security course, on the day when, I was supposed to start and didn't hear from them again no emails , calls and no course.
They are scam artists only looking to collect money and not provide courses. It now transpires that this level 3 Certificate in Cyber Security Practices (NCFE) is not industry recognized qualification and is not recognized by employers, so you be totally wasting your time and money completing this Level 3 Certificate in Cyber Security Practices (NCFE).

Far better training here than elsewhere

The training was excellent. Great group of people. The sign up process was straight forward and clear.

I understand they are asking questions about me because the government funding means that they need need to prove you're eligible for tax payer funds for your course.

Suprisingly good level of post-course support. I would recommend

The oversell

I was told through my Job Centre that the Cyber Security course they offered, would be a great start for a job in this field, stopping cyber attacks, assisting an organisations security policy, and advising on best practice.

This qualification is not enough for industry. I have been rejected from several jobs so far. They oversell this, making it out to be more than it is.

I am now studying a course I should be.

We are also still waiting for our certificates from a business management course, after so many months. We are considering legal action.

Now having written this, the teachers are fantastic.

(Update: 04/10/2025, I have given it two stars now, as we now have our business management certificates, however it took too long).

Scamm

Very bad experience! it's more of a scam, they accept people 24/7 to take their money and don't answer them anymore

Highly disappointing

Sadly, my experience was that they are not an honest or reliable company. I received conflicting approaches from different team members and it was not at all satisfactory, but rather disappointing and a waste of effort.

Credit where it's due

Credit where it's due. Strivetraining and the tutor Mr. Carr has further increased my confidence with regards to applying for jobs and prepping for interviews. I've also learned a few useful tricks. Many thanks indeed.
