Do NOT buy

I almost never write negative reviews unless the product doesn't function, but unfortunately, this bike is in that category. We purchased in 2021 after seeing the tablet could run android and allowed use of the peloton app for an affordable price. After several delays we received our bike. Upon receipt we found out it did not allow access to the Google PlayStore, but were given instructions on how to get the Peloton app; this worked okay for a couple of months before apps started going out of date and not functioning properly. I thought surely they would push out an update to the version of Android to allow newer and more secure apps to be added and fix the issue, so I was not too concerned, but 4 years later it is on the same, very outdated, version and now not only does it still not work with peloton, but it is also a security risk. I inquired about if the tablet could be updated or replaced and was told no. I can't even use the bike disconnected from the internet to simply pedal with resistance and track my use and stats from a freestyle session because saving that data requires a $30/month subscription to Stryde and a connection to the Internet (even if you do not want to follow Strydes pre recorded exercise sessions). I am very regretful of this purchase and would not recommend this product or company. I feel scammed out of over $1500 for a product that is now useless and only functioned properly for a couple of months. Buyer beware.

The tablet sent with bike does not…

The tablet sent with bike does not allow use of Netflix as advertised. It requires an update that is not allowed for the tablet shipped with the bike. Reached out to support which sent directions for update. Did not work. Very dissatisfied with purchase. Would not recommend if you plan on trying to use tablet for anything other than stride content.

Don't Buy Stryde, Get a Peloton Instead

The tablet you get with the bike is not very good. You can't really download anything onto it directly and even if you use a USB stick, it's a long shot. If you're planning on using the ZWIFT app with this bike, even the folks at Stryde don't know how to get the app to work on the tablet.

I also can't return it because they consider delivery on your driveway "Threshold delivery" (which by definition it isn't) and they need all the original packaging. I would have been better off buying a peloton. Stay Away!

Horrible company

Horrible company. I ordered a power cord and it never came. I called the company and they said it was on its way. It never came. Two months after initial order it be take. Tried to call and no one would answer for days. Finally found a name and looked them up on social media to contact them. They replied and said it would be sent but it never came. Requested a cancellation and money back, it never came. Horrible

Software is seriously buggy. Bike is like an old squeaky car

Software is seriously buggy. I've called out a bug in the free ride part of the software but no response back on what they will do about it. The software is also poor in simple things like having to log in every time to services like netflix vs retaining that login information. The software crashes a lot and freezes, and the screen will remain ON indefinitely many times. All very poorly done i hate to say. I have had the bike since december. Its already unstable and creaks like an old squeaky vehicle. I am not impressed.

A lot of the songs used are really old

A lot of the songs used are really old. I wish there were more types of workouts and a little more variety. I think some virtual rides would be cool instead of just rides with instructors. I am glad more stuff is getting added but I think a lot more could still be done with the style app. I like being able to use other apps on my bike.

Bike has great attributes, but the service is lackingfirst arrive the spin…

when my bike first arrive the spin wheel was rubbing against the magnets. At first customer service said I could fix it myself. I could not even get the screws off. It took one month after receiving the bike for service to show up and fix it. It took two of them a couple of hours due to the complexity. I could never have done it.

Since the beginning my handle bars would never stay up. When I emailed help desk they gave me instruction to fix it. That did not work. It took at least 7 to 10 days to get the new part and then I need to wait for your service agent to call and set up a visit. This still has not happened and tomorrow is the day I need to call back if I do not hear anything. When my bike first arrived I had to call your service company multiple times. As you know, getting into and staying with an exercise routine is critical. Your service element does not allow for that. I just got the bike in May. I do want to say Amali is very responsive so shout out to her. Date of most recent experience was early Aug

I purchased my Stryde bike because I loved all of the classes offered on the App. what I didn't know was that the bike would be a headache!

I purchased my Stryde bike because I have been going to High Ride Cycle in Denver for years. I was moving to the mountains and I wanted to be able to continue to take classes from my favorite instructors. So I sold my Peloton bike which I had owned for four years (and never had a single issue with), and I bought the Stryde bike. In the two years that I have owned the bike it has broken three times. The resistance will just stop working out of no where which then effects all of the other stats. This means that I can't tell where my resistance is set on a bike and the analytics from the ride are all off. If you are looking to land on a leader board that will never happen with no resistance! Their support team have sent out new sensors and a technician to my house each time. The last time he was hopeful the fix would work and completely rebuilt the bike. Fast forward three months later the same issue happens again and it is no longer under warranty. I reached out to Stryde and they told me they make no exceptions to the twelve month warranty and no service repair is ever guaranteed. I have been doing research and it seems like there are other people out there having the same exact issue. The app is also glitchy and prone to issues like workouts taking forever to load as well. I love the classes and I want to love the bike but it has been nothing but a headache. I wish that I had never sold my Peloton.

Absolutely the worst experience

Absolutely the worst experience. I tried Stryde because I liked the unlocked screen. The screen was shipped before the bike and was difficult to operate, difficult to install apps on, had little to no IT help from Stryde, was low resolution, and the speakers were cheap. I was still going to use the bike, but then the bike never arrived despite a 2-3 week estimated shipping time. I cancelled it after a few months of not receiving it. I am now 5 months from the purchase and STILL have not received a refund, with excuse after excuse. I bought a Peloton in the middle of this mess and it arrived in 4 days and I have been very happy with the product and the professionalism. Lastly, despite receiving no bike, Stryde charged 200$ to "restock" a bike that doesn't appear to have left the shelf.

Still Waiting to Even Receive My Bike

I’m writing this from a place of frustration as it’s been one month today since I ordered this bike, and I have yet to receive a shipment notification or anything. The website states 14-21 days to ship. Not true. I’ve emailed them as there is no number to call, and was told the bike would ship late last week or early this week. Still nothing. I’ve emailed them once again, but honestly I wish I knew this was an issue with this company as I wouldn’t have ordered from them. PRAYING if and when the bike arrives it is worth all this aggravation.

Bike is excellent, app lacking

The bike itself is excellent and I have no buyer’s remorse. No problems whatsoever Andi love it. The app has little functionality outside of the workout videos, hasn’t been updated in a year, and has no integrations with other apps or services. Planning on trying other options there.

Biggest beat down of my life

The bike itself seems well built. The problem is the tablet. It is extremely problematic. Issues with connectivity and connecting to apps (which is Styrde's biggest selling point and what makes the bike unique). The bigger issue is working with Stryde. While customer svc, is responsive, they do not offer support over the phone. I've been going back and forth on email and it's a beat down! They even sent me an email referring to a link when no link was attached so back to another email to await for a response. Today, my issue is unresolved. You can not send the bike back without the original packaging, less a $250 restocking fee, and good luck not tearing this getting the bike out of the box. There should be a complaint lodged with the FTC due to the number of customers who have experienced similar issues with this company. Steer clear of Stryde!

The bike is awesome

The bike is awesome, very quiet, comfortable and much more affordable than the Peloton bike. the problem I have is with the monitor. The Free Ride feature doesn’t alway work, so I have to restart the monitor to get it up and going. I’ve contacted the company often, even sending screenshots of what the monitor show, but I am getting no support. There is no way to speak with anyone and the email responses are very vague and have done nothing to help resolve the issue. It’s very frustrating to not get any support with the issue. The customer support is very poor.

Awful shipping!!

Awful shipping!!! I waited a whole month and no one had called me. A personal number randomly called me to say they were outside my apartment without ANY scheduling or warning, to which I said they should come back on the next Monday as I was WORKING. They did not show up that day and instead just completely surprised me AGAIN. When I tried to call back the number no one ever picked up and I couldn’t leave a message on this personal number. After a month of this I gave up and told them stop trying and returned it.

A really great exercise bike

The bike itself is made really well. It’s super sturdy and feels reliable given it’s mostly metal.
The process of side loading apps is a little tough sometimes and can be frustrating. But customer service is top notch at responding and being helpful.
The speakers need an upgrade on the tablet. And only other feedback I have is the seat slips sometimes unless you tighten it really really really well. So I wish they’d do something to fix that issue. Love the bike, though. I definitely get soooo much use out of it.
