Work commenced on time and was…

Work commenced on time and was completed in two days as was quoted
All work was carried out to a very high standard and was very clean and tidy
The two engineers were highly skilled, pleasant and helpful
The work was to replace our central heating and hot water boiler and to flush the entire system
I thoroughly recommend Strysen to anyone

I had a Viessmann boiler installed less…

I had a Viessmann boiler installed less than 5 years ago with Strysen and also had it serviced every year with Strysen... Recently my hot water was going hot and cold. Called Strysen who sent 2 engineers around - they were trying to charge me £129 to replace a part (as well as the office sending me a call out charge of £56 for not fixing the issue - I wasn't made aware of the callout cost of this beforehand either by the way)... I call Viessmann to send their own engineer for 2nd opinion, they fix it on the day by removing debris in system and cleaning parts... And the reason for the fault was due to "over heating in DHW mode due to circulation restriction inside the boiler" the boiler was not serviced properly and never has been according to engineer "whatever they've done, they haven't serviced it" and pointed to a red seal that's never been broken which is supposed to be proof of this, as well stating something else (As you can tell I know nothing about boilers like most average people). So I've been conned 4 years in a row for annual services not carried out properly. Very upset and will not be using again.

Replacement Boiler

Helpful advice before purchase. Engineers arrived early and on time. Worked all day without a break until the job was completed. Went above and beyond to replace everything as neatly as possible.

New Boiler

We first made an enquirey about a new boiler on the same day as our existing boiler was classed as unrepairable. Three hours later David was at the house and advising us of our options. We decided the next day, and three days later the new boiler was being installed. We were delighted with this fast rsponse as we were without both heating and hot water.

The two engineers arrived on time, and worked throughout the day without a break. They also repositioned the main radiator in the living room.

Once completed, they cleaned up and didn't leave any mess whatsoever.

From the first house visit to the time the job was completed (3 days), I was most impressed with the service we received. Both my wife and I would not hesitate to recommend 'Strysen heating and electrical' to anyone who requires this type of work.

New boiler installed

New boiler installed, really very good experience throughout. Engineers were polite , knowledgeable, neat and carried out the work with care and professionalism. Strysen do not use contract fitters and have a high reputation to maintain, this they certainly did for me. Very pleased and highly recommended.

Outstanding g in every respect

Highly professional company with first rate management and staff. Fully experienced in all aspects of modern heating systems together with today's frequently associated electronic controls.
Without doubt the most efficient of all the companies I consulted to undertake the work I had in mind.
The work was completed fully operational to a very high standard and within the quoted timescale. This is a company in which you can have complete confidence and peace of mind that the outcome will fully meet your expectations and within budget.

We had a replacement boiler and the whole process has run very smoothly from obtaining a quote to completion of the installation. Everything was made very clear and the installation was made in one day. They arrived as planned at 8am and completed the work by 4pm.
Highly recommend their services, very professional and well priced, great value all round.

No hot water !!!!

Guy came to service my boiler, here 30-45 mins, said all was fine. 5 minutes later tried to run hot water - cold. Rang the office who got the guy to come back 15 mins later. Looked at boiler, woffled about service mode or something, then had to call the boiler manufacturer for advice. Then drained some water out of the system and all fine.
Looking back - it was so strange he never asked me to run any hot water after the service (normally they do).
Boiler is on a contract so do not choose the people who service it -next year will find another supplier

Disappointing to receive such a negative and unfair review, but thank you for highlighting the fantastic efficiency of our customer service - you flagged a simple and minor error to us, and it was completely resolved within 20mins of your call.

When in service mode the boiler will not deliver hot water, and this function is used to test and calibrate the combustion performance of the boiler. On your appliance it is necessary to manually cancel the service mode, which was mistakenly left on upon completion of the service. This was quickly and efficiently resolved, with a brief call the manufacturer to confirm the correct procedure.
