Psychotherapy experience

I spent two years working with Stuart and I can truly say that it was the most impactful therapy experience that I have ever had. I had never worked with a male therapist before, and had some reservations coming in, but I am so glad that I did. Stuart was patient, warm and attuned, while also willing to compassionately challenge me and offer alternative ways of looking at things. I found his approach to psychodyanamic psychotherapy to really resonate, and felt there was a good balance between using theoretical principals, and being less formal when it was needed. I would absolutely still be seeing him if there were unlimited therapy coverage. Thank you endlessly.

Safe, spacious and open

I worked with Stuart for 10 months, beginning in a pretty poor state of stress and panic. Stuart provided a very safe and spacious opportunity to explore my relationship with myself and with life's ups and downs. As we got to know each other I found it more and more easy to express myself and excavate and examine some deep and fundamental aspects of my personality. I chose Stuart specifically because of his Buddhist training and experience. Whilst this was very helpful to me I must also add that his approach was certainly not explicitly Buddhist and I am sure would entirely suitable for someone who has no knowledge or interest in Buddhist practices. Thank you Stuart.

3 years of psychotherapy

I spent 3 years working on a weekly basis with Stuart and would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a psychotherapist. He was incredibly perceptive and insightful in his understanding of me and my challenges, which were pretty overwhelming at the time. Stuart’s therapeutic skills and huge capacity for empathy and understanding was nothing short of lifesaving for me.
