Good quality, clean accommodation with friendly staff. So good I’m living here next year too 🙂

I’ve had complaints made towards me from my flatmates, but when i make complaints sometimes i don’t feel heard. If i report something wrong with my room it takes a while to get someone to get back to me to fix the issue, even when i’ve been told someone would come.

Studios rooms are quite expensive, honestly. I rented a private studio room with my partner but the bed was so small (small double) and they refused to give me a bigger one. Not even another mattress. And their mattress was not new. It was very uncomfortable to use. I was feeling the springs. They said they were going to see if they had some spare ones but they never replied back. Also, they were not quite flexible when setting up a payment plan to align with my funding. They just don't care about it. Finally, the room has very thin walls. I can always hear the voices from the hall, from the neighborhood, from the birds, from the cars, etc.... other than that is OK

Mealmarket it’s a great place to live. It is very close to bus stops for both RGU and Uni of Aberdeen. The staff are lovely and are available 24/7. The main criticism about the accommodation is how expensive the laundry is. It’s just too much.

The staff are very friendly, and work hard to make sure you feel welcome here. The dual occupancy deal is incredibly good value.
My only complaint is number of washing machines, the laundromat is very small for how many people live here.
However, the rest of this place makes up for that.

Very friendly and helpful reception, check in was fast when I first arrived. Rarely has any issues during my stay: I live on the 4th floor and there is hot water running 24/7, not sure for the higher floors tho. Wifi here is also very fast. The accommodation is right next to the Buchanan bus station which makes commute to both the university and rest of Scotland fairly easy.

Kind and friendly reception staff, rooms are a cozy size without being too small

Very friendly staff that are always happy to help, tons of activities and events to attend, large social spaces for gatherings and modern looking rooms with ample space for your things!
Unfortunately, I do notice a few downsides such as very loud drains in the walls of certain rooms, insanely easy to clog showers as well as poor WiFi connection, not often but frequent enough to notice.

I found a lot of the morning stuff really rude and not helpful at all.

I really enjoyed spending time here. They organize great events and are really kind. Hopefully it stays as it is.

Lovely accommodation in the perfect location with staff happy to help at any time. Next to city centre and train station and bus stops right outside.
Lovely rooms at a very affordable price for students compared to any other accommodations in the area. 24/7 staff support and fast maintenance team.
Corner shop with all essentials right outside the main reception that’s open until late. Overall a perfect option for students.

Yes, very good experience. Helpful staff etc. The ensuite rooms are quite expensive these days is the only thing.

I really like the place and the facilities and the social study rooms, but sometimes the faculty knocks on our doors really loudly in the middle of the day and I've previously been in interviews, which has been very disrupting.
Also, I've needed to consistently pester when there were plumbing malfunctions such as no hot water in the shower, which took longer than a week to consolidate.

Good but could be better
Could be doing with more frequent maintenance and better WiFi in the upper floors and also bigger spaces for those who are doing dual occupancy as the rooms can be really suffocating especially with so Mitch stuff for two people and the prices as well are crazy to get more room and no gym in some of the buildings and no manual for the ovens either or sometimes oven and microwave in one.

Not good:
All three blocks share about 3 Hoovers. Makes no sense tbh. Just one bin is provided and no additional bins for recycling which I also find very odd. Certain things should be provided by an accommodation, especially one that isn’t cheap. Kitchen supplies like brooms and mops as well as a Hoover and two bins for the entire flat should be a staple.
Good:
The staff are very kind and helpful which I do appreciate and they are so considerate. All the staff are kind and friendly and I hope the company takes proper care of them.
