I have ordered a product online and preliminary checked the rules if I could return it. The delivery time was 2-3 months, which is quite usual for the Netherlands. So, I didn’t pay attention. When the product was delivered I realized that it doesn’t
fit. So, I would like to return. I have been answered that this is impossible as the product was customized. Apparently, if the product is not a stock item, it is considered as customized and cannot be returned. As a note, I didn’t make any customization of the size or colour. I just ordered the product as it was proposed on the web-site. I think that conditions and rules might be provided in a clearer manner.

I was of the understanding the couch is…

I was of the understanding the couch is macular, which is not. This has caused a big problem and additional expenses. It should be made clearer the couch is in fact one piece.

Oak with visible knots and mismatching color planks

Disappointed with delivered table. In-store staff promised premium, seamless oak planks, but what I received had visible knots and mismatched color planks, giving the table a cheap look. For the price of 4500€, I expected more attention to a detail and better quality.

Sorry to hear that the products were not ultimately delivered as expected. We use A-quality oak, which significantly reduces the risk of knots. Should knots be present, they may and can occur in small sizes, as it remains a natural product.

Be aware, take your money elsewhere.

Do not be fooled by the wonderful service in the Studio Henk shop(s). If there are any issues regarding follow up problems and/or care, there is little to no customer service on offer. Read all the 1 Star reviews and you will notice the consistency in them. Prevention is better than cure so if possible, purchase your product else where. Price/Quality are not aligned in this shop in my experience.

After a very long battle, giving Studio Henk every chance to take responsibility for their inferior product(s), they have chosen not to do so. I have had some contact with the Geschillen Commissie in the Hague and Studio Henk is legally obliged to comply with their own Terms & Conditions. Unfortunately they do not do this. The also seem to contend that issues with a material are the fault of the consumer, even when there is written proof from the supplier of the material which states that the issue ' is a known problem ' with the material. It is almost laughable. However, with thousands of euros at stake, it is far from funny.

I could write a very long review, giving account of unanswered emails, telephone calls, the stress involved in the process (I paid almost 3,000 euros for this stress), the so called ' independent report' made by a company called POS which Studio Henk will happily organise and pay for (no I am not joking) ... so objectivity is generally impossible when money changes hands. The assembly of my couch was also not done correctly and they simply ignore this ... along with many other things ....

Check out the POS reviews. Almost on a par with Studio Henk ...

What next? A full blown court case? Perhaps.

Unfortunately, we were unable to meet your expectations.

After delivering a new sofa, out of goodwill, you made another report to us after 2 months. This was about folds and the middle leg which was not extended.

We had POS service group (an independent company) visit you, which assessed that it was a model-related report. The little folds in the fabric were within the margin and is inherent to a sofa and the middle leg is now touching the floor.

It is unfortunate that we have not been able to meet your earlier expectations.

The reason we are responding to your review now is because we have recently become active on Trustpilot.
