Another excellent trip organised by Clair and Jo. They always go the extra mile to help you plan the perfect trip itinerary and ensure your mind is at rest over any concerns you may have. They provide a friendly service and are very responsive when communicating with them.
I would highly recommend Study Experiences if any teachers were planning on doing a school trip. I will definitely be using them again in the future and have recommended them to many colleagues.

We have used Study Experiences for our last two trips to London with 40 teenagers from rural Scotland. We plan to keep coming back to Study Experiences for a whole range of reasons:

1. Their customer service is excellent, from booking through to the post-trip feedback. The booking team (we use Clair & Jo) listen to our needs carefully and take their time to find the most cost-efficient way of getting what we need without compromising the pupils’ experiences at all. I was particularly impressed with the way in which they handled out specific requests for a pupil with complex support needs.
2. The value for money beats every other company we have obtained quotes from - they really do get a fantastic price and pack the itinerary full of meaningful and enjoyable activities. They are also very good at recommending new attractions to gauge the interest of pupils. The booking team actually go to visit the attractions and restaurants they recommend to clients - meaning that their information is based on first-hand experiences.
3. Their personal tour manager service is fantastic. Our tour manager, Derek Angell is highly recommended! He stays with the group throughout the trip and takes all of the stress out of the trip for teachers. All tickets, transfers, meals and logistics are taken care of for you.
4. The level of communication between the company and their clients is second to none - the team are always on-hand when you need them, but they also pro-actively phone the trip leader to ensure all his well.
5. Above all - the Study Experiences team listen to feedback from their clients, leading to a constantly updated range of activities and learning experiences for our pupils. They genuinely care about the enjoyment that our pupils got from travelling with them,

I could go on and on!

Study Experiences are a great company to organise school trips through! Clair and Jo in the bookings team are friendly and supportive and understand the pressures schools are under to get value for money as well as an excellent experience. I've used them for around seven years now and wil continue to book with them in the future.

I have used this company for many years and they have always been extremely helpful in all areas. We recently returned for a 3 day trip to Thorpe Park and London, which was excellent. The accommodation on the park was very nice with a lovely setting.

Our trip was excellent from start to finish: I made my initial enquiries in January and was booked up within a week or so. During this time, I was kept in the loop and received regular e mails regarding the booking and travel arrangement process.

We have used Study Experiences since 2012 - initially going to London annually, before branching out to Paris and alternating each year. As such, we are rewarded by the company with discounted staff places and free packed lunches, which makes a massive difference to the cost per child. We have also requested the same Tour Manager since 2013 - he is now a familiar face to our students and feels like one of our own staff, which is great.

As always, our final travel arrangements were e mailed to me in good time. I requested that we picked up one of our staff members up in the coach and this was easily - and swiftly - arranged by the Study Experiences team.

The coach company selected were brilliant - and being used to the hustle and bustle of London, they appreciated that we were always at pick up points etc when we should be.

We chose a hotel outside London, simply to keep costing down and this year’s hotel (Premier Inn near Haethrow) was the best yet: smooth check in; all students on one floor; lovely big breakfast and really pleasant, welcoming staff. Moreover, for being an airport hotel, it didn’t seem overly busy or loud which was great.

The attractions we chose in London were much enjoyed by the students and entering wasn’t a hassle because myself and our Tour Manager had the necessary paperwork which had been sent in our final travel arrangements. Again, David, our Tour Manager, was brilliant as he was able to negotiate earlier times to the attractions, which meant we could set off earlier for home (we live in Berwick-upon-Tweed so the coach journey is a good 8 hours all in).

Lastly, the show: School of Rock, which was suggested by the team at Study Experiences. Wow! What a show! We’ve taken students to The Woman in Black; Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and Matilda, but School of Rock was absolutely amazing! Again, made so much easier by our school party all being in 2 rows so it was easier - and stress free - looking after them.

Overall, a wonderful - easy and stress free - experince from initial enquiries to actually going, which is much appreciated when I’ve got a full teaching timetable and 2 little children of my own at home!

Can’t wait for Paris next year!

For the past 5 years Study Experiences have organised our two day Year 6 Theater Trip & Harry Potter Studios Tour and we can not recommend them enough. They are so professional, friendly and helpful and will cater to any individual needs.
Their prices are very reasonable and they always provide a Tour Guide too so that you have someone to 'hold your hand' with 60 kids in tow through the West End especially! Our Tour Guide this year was our favorite, David Beaumont, who looked after us and kept the kids entertained whilst stuck in horrible London traffic with all his interesting knowledge of the planes that flew into Heathrow above our heads, the staff really enjoyed it too. Thank you David (can we request you for next year too please?)

Study Experiences take all of the worry out of booking a school trip. They provide expert advice and with their tour guide,
who stays throughout, their service is second to none. We use them every year and would highly recommend them.

As a school we have used Study Experiences for trips to London for over ten years. Their staff are amazing, they hold your hand through the whole process and nothing is ever too much trouble (even sorting small problems in the evening and over weekends!). They have fantastic knowledge of the hotels, restaurants, attractions and shows, and the tour guide that we use is so good that she keeps in touch throughout the year! The seats we are given for shows are always very good, and our tour manager has been able to advise us of new shows coming up and somehow manages to book them in high profile sold out theatres. I can't speak highly enough of the staff and will continue to use Study Experiences for the foreseeable future.

I have used Study Experiences for a number of years now and have always found them very helpful, they give very helpful advice and are very supportive when there are problems. We have always had excellent seats for the shows and other activities which we have taken part in have been well informed and well planned. The tour guides are usually very knowledgeable and helpful. I would thoroughly recommend using Study Experiences.

I have used Study Experiences for many years for my school London Trips. I find that they are very accommodating with changes of pupil numbers and needs up to a short time before departure. The quality of the seats we have had over the years has been excellent - very often middle stalls (which I love) and good Circle seats...our Aladdin tickets were incredible for it being such a new show! The bus companies we have had have generally all been good - no-one needing directions through London thank goodness! Also our allocated guides have on the whole been very helpful and more than willing to discuss what they had in mind for sights and what we are looking for. Hotels have also been a very positive experience - thankfully no night time troubles and any issues about needing anything for the pupils in the rooms (very few) have been sorted quickly and efficiently. I have looked to see if I could organise a trip cheaper - my findings were that I couldn't without compromising quality of hotel/tickets/buses... I shall continue to use Study Experiences as long as I have pupils to take!

As a school we have worked with Study Experiences for over twenty years and would now not consider using any other company.
After over 20 years of organising trips and working with travel companies that seemed to work on the principle of misinforming clients, last minute hitches and impossible to speak to the same person twice, we were fortunate enough to book with Study.
Their attention to detail, warm professional approach and "Nothing is too much trouble" attitude, has made the whole experience of organising and running a trip a real pleasure.
At present we run trips to France with over 200 students, but the issues this could create, simply don't occur because of the excellent organisation behind the scenes.
The addition of Tour reps, who accompany all trips and ensure that everything runs smoothly within the organised activities, allows us as a staff to focus on the needs of our students, without needing to think about anything else.
We are so grateful for all their hard work and would never consider any other company.
I have now organised school residential trips for 40 years and would not consider going anywhere else. I need quality of care, high standards and full risk assessments. Study Experiences provide all this and more.
