Told me my book should arrive latest on the 4th of October, then without informing me they changed the date to the 25th. When I called the customer service, they first hung up on me immediately after staying in the queue for 10 minutes. On my second call, they told me it should arrive next week then, but it might as well not since they can't really tell me when they would have it in stock again. When they asked how I want to receive my refund, I asked for a transaction to my bank account, the guy told me that's more difficult than just PayPal because I need to write a mail with my IBAN etc. When I told him to just transfer it to Paypal then, he told me that's very difficult as well and he can't really tell me how long it would take for the transaction to arrive on my account. Needless to say, I am very upset right now and would NOT recommend this service to anybody else.
Well I'm new to Netherlands and I'm studying at an English course and I got my books on this site. The books came fast and in good condition I also ordered a second hand book on this site and it also came in good condition. Will order my books from here
It started with a book that was not bound/cut right so I wanted to sent it back. I called and even after 30+ minutes no one picked up. Then I emailed them and finally got a reply and I was, after sending multiple pictures as proof, allowed to send it back and would be send a new one without charge. I send it back but after 12 days I had heard nothing back, no notification if they received the book I send back or if they send me a new one already. So I emailed them again with proof that I had send the book back to them, they never replied. Eventually I got the replacement book in the mail, while I still haven’t heard back from them, so I thought everything was alright. Now 14 days later I get an email that I had to pay them back the money they had wrongly send my way (I had not noticed this until now). In the email they did not even give me a way to send it back, they just expect me to figure it out on my own? Overall I’m really tired and will try to avoid them as much as possible in the future. It’s an alright store to shop as long as there aren’t any problems with your order, when there is you are in for a long ride.
so far, I have ordered more than 3 books, all received within the shortest time. to me, it is the best store I have ordered from. I will order more books from there.

Slow, so very slow. I used this site because my educational programme recommended it and I could easily forward the bill to my employer.
A full 7 (!) days after ordering, I get an email that they need information from my employer (which I had already sent them, but hey, if it speeds things up I will send it again). Then, after another 7(!) days, I get an email that the information was processed and the order released for delivery.
Then the invoice: not only do they send the invoice to me when I have made it clear (repeatedly) that my employer will be paying, they send me two invoices for the same order because apparently one of my books needs separate invoicing??
Next email says my order will be in my mailbox - major red flag here, my order is 13 books, no way that fits in my mailbox.
Turns out they are sending it in batches, and just the first one has been sent, no idea of when the rest will be shipped or delivered!!
And its now getting at 3 weeks since I ordered!!
Totally unreliable.

I ordered my book online. The book was delivered very fast which is amazing! However, I encountered problems when trying to log in to system. There was some kind of bug that did not let me log in and continue with purchase. Eventually, the problem got solved. :)
The package was received on the expected date and in good condition.
Paid 70 euro’s for a book, promised to have it deliverd in 2 days but after 4 it still hasn’t come yet. I need it for my study. This is not the first time this has happened and i shall never order here again. They are lying to poor students for financial gain. If you need books for next year order them now so you’ll know you’ll have them in time.

Title says it all. Ordered and paid 72 euro for book in July. Not delievered by two weeks into the term; asked for a refund. Was told that I had to get the University to contact them and tell them the book was out of print (which it wasn't). University had nothing to do with the transaction. Then started to email and call. Last was told that I had to supply a copy of my bank statement showing that the money was paid. Did that, though pointed out that this should be unnecessary since their accounts department had the information. Predictably silence from them since then. The royal runaround. Draw your own concussions.

UPDATE 30.9. I got my refund money finally. It took 3 weeks.
I ordered my Books on Study Store via the Student association of my Faculty. During the process, there were some server issues but in the end, in my confirmation E-mail and on the website it said I ordered the books. Once.
A few days later I checked my bank-account-balance and to find that twice the amount for my books will be taken from my account by the end of the month. That's about 400€ instead of 200€! And I'm a student, so this is to be taken seriously.
So I called the customer service, waited in the waiting line (By now I know all their music by heart...) for about half an hour, but eventually someone picked up and told me to send a picture of the write-off so it could be forwarded to the administration department where they would handle it. I did, but when I asked what the next steps would be now, and if I would get informed whether I could get my money back and when, my mails remained ignored. I also sent another email, explaining my problem, but that was ignored as well.
So I called again a few days later,waited for half an hour again and ended up with someone telling me that she could see the mail was forwarded to the admin department and opened as well, and from that she concluded I would have my money back soon. I asked for a confirmation E-mail, something valid, and I was told the customer service couldn't do that, and that the admin department won't send any confirmation either. Yesterday I contacted the Facebook page as well, but (surprise!!) no answer.
So here I am, hoping and waiting to get my money back, but I don't even know if anyone really considered my problem or will take care of it. By now I am really just angry, I feel like I am talking to a wall here.
This is URGENT for me. I understand if there are problems, but I expect a company like study store to handle them more professionally.

I purchased 2 books on Studystore which was in reprint but they of course deducted the money from my credit card before shipment. I found the books elsewhere and cancelled the order (before the date of reprint). depsite several emails I have not seen my refund.
