Sugarbook is not a dating site and there are no sugarbabies - it's just a honeypot scam. Once you pay for subscription with your credit card, you can't cancel the subscription and you can't edit your credit card details. You are instructed to contact the support to cancel the subscription, but they don't ever reply. Even if you deactivate and delete your Sugarbook account, YOU WILL STILL BE CHARGED for subscription every month. The only way to escape the scam is to contact your bank and permanently deactivate the credit card you used.
Not a real sugar dating site, mostly overseas scammers using stolen pics of models and AI generated fake profiles. The 5% real women only want to meet online, so they are really just cam girls conning you into sending them money by saying "maybe" they will meet you in person someday.
I give this site 0 stars. I met a potential SD and he ended up scamming me and got me to deposit a fraudulent check into my account. I am currently trying to fix that. But due to my dumbass falling for his shit I am now looking at fraud charges. So ladies and gentlemen be careful!
Sadly, all the sugar sites have been infected with scammers. Sugarbook is based in Asia and has more than its share and I suspect - don't know for sure - that they actually support some of them. Horrible customer service so whenever I've reported a blatant scammer I just get a "we'll look into it" reply.
I went to this site to see if I could find a SD and I met a couple of SD, but has I was talking to them I realized they were trying to scam me. The only men I talked to on here are scammers. This site says they verified everyone and apparently they do not.
All subscriptions are overpriced. The site is glitchy and outdated. I also tried AFFdate.com
with minimal account first and I loved it because it really stood out. I managed to get a date within a week of joining which would have been unbelievable success on Sugarbook. Apparently Sugarbook is built on basis of deception and misleading customers. Basically you exchange messages with bots and that’s what you pay for!
[Sugar Site Analyst]
As an Singaporean SB, I have tried Sugarbook for about 3 weeks. Here is the cold hard truth:
SugarBook is indeed the most populated sugar site in Asia terms of number of members. However, overall it has lowest quality of SD and are predatorious by nature in Singapore's landscape (Nearly all are young men in their 30's). The birth of this site has eroded the original meaning of 'Sugar Relationship'. Instead it encourages and pimps youngs girls into a camwhore and created a toxic 'Street Prostitute' culture where men will ask about the price for sex straight up (no dates etc) and meet in hotels striaght etc.
✦ Young Wannabe SD(s)
Super flaky, can't speak proper english nor complete a sentence, has terrible social & communication skills. (Nothing that resembles a truly wealthy man)
✦ Low Budget Wannabe SD(s)
Nearly all members are in their 30's offering S$500 PPM expecting intimacy. Some has the cheek to go as low as S$300. A margin with no difference from street prostitutes.
✦ PPM Intimacy 'Test Drive' Culture
Most Singaporean men has created & use 'Pay Per Meet' payment structure to enjoy as many young girls as possible with no intention of having a longer term sugar relationship. Unfortunately, many girls allowed themselves to be used at such low rates, enforcing success to their 'Cheapskate' manipulation tactics.
✦ High Risk & Predatorious
A local Chinese in late 30’s met me for a Non Paid M&G. While walking back to his White Tesla car through the carpark stairs with no cameras, he touched me inappropiately without consent and did other stuff.
Yet, he continues to dangle a carrot saying he will start an arrangement yet never sents a single cent. Attempts to get nude photos and even talk about how 'He's worried that we are sexual incompatible' hinting about a free try out session.
When I brought up this incident to prevent the same thing to happen before our 2nd meet, he last mintue bail out in meeting and said 'He feels affected to hear this' and is busy with work (as a business owner at 3pm+). I found him online in Sugarbook for more than 1 hour (looking for next victim), 5 minutes after this conversation ends.
*This is one of the least creepy conversation during filtering and it turns out to be of this outcome. Just because this is Singapore, doesn't mean that it's totally safe. The number of sexual predators in this site is HIGH. It's a can of worms!
Let me give you another 2 examples:
1. The most handsome guy in SB is there because he refuses to use condom and enjoys cumming inside you. He has gotten someone pregnant before (Aside from his divorced wife). Budget? The same as the highly unattractive guys you sell your body for at S$500 per meet with intimacy. Want someone handsome? Sure, get ready to get pregnant with their high risk sexual behaviours!
(Updates: A number of other local guys were the same too)
2. A Business Man of multiple company offers high monthly allowance. Does not want to show his photo. Takes 2 weeks to text on tele. Then keeps texting each week as a man of few words respond. Wants to takes another 2 months to arrange first M&G.
Do you wanna wait for Christmas about 6 months later to have your first allowance while entertaining his weekly messages for free? 🙃
Overall, this is like ‘Tinder 2.0’, except that you can’t swipe away all the guys. All of the unattractive guys now get to text you and offer a small earning opportunity to be slept with instead of the hottie who wants it for free. Dating is a nightmare in 20th century. Pick your poison.
☞ If you're a smart & beautiful girl with high self esteems and wants a high quality SD, you shouldn't be in this site. If you need urgent cash and is willing to sleep with highly unattractive young men with low budget, you can get lots of deals here within your first few weeks. For me, I choose the former.
Take Care,
🌹
All too setup as a money dump without certified interaction. You'll have to spend money on the site just to do any communication, and find out it's a fake profile. The attention you get seems like it's the site itself sending it to get you to spend money. Better to stay away from things like these.
DO NOT I REPAT DO NOT USE THIS PAGE THEY USE YOU AS MULE TO SEND “money” to cartel and check bounced so puts you in negatives!!! You will get scary photos after you tell them your not doing it anymore and get threatened with your life
There are so many rude and physical abusive man on the sugarbook app. Ladies becareful.
I have emailed them 3 times to cancel my subscription and had nothing back! I have also got in contact through the app and had no reply!
Not impressed at by this site. For supposedly having the most members in SE Asia this site definitely is not worth the time or money. I won’t renew my one month prime membership and DO NOT recommend it. Save your money.
It's too many scams on that website and they need to start doing background checks on those men 🙄
I am on another sugardaddy site and had no problem joining but this site is a joke , I did my profile and they rejected a photo and wordings in profile , rejected my username , in which nothing was wrong in my view , obviously I am not suitable for the looks of anyone on there, yet I am on pof and i get hundreds of likes and recieve messages, I thought from how this site was displayed it would be good to maybe meet people but the owners are probably racist or think I am not up to their standard to use their site . There is plenty of other sites that i can go on without negative ownership being picky who they allow on it .
