Awful customer service

Service in Birmingham branch was ok initially but after paying over £320 for a suit then on trying it on finding a hole about an inch wide along a seam we phoned the branch to see what our options were as it was for our sons graduation. We were told we could go back for a refund - not acceptable as we need the suit and would have to pay train fare as we don’t live close and they didn’t have the size in stock anyway so another option was order and pay for a pair online and bring faulty ones back within the return period for the refund - well ok but the delivery charge was extortion and nowhere along the line was there any mention of a gesture of goodwill etc so all in all very disappointed dreadful customer service will never use them again even if we were offered a fiver off especially as you have to pay a fiver for the bloody suit carrier )or a free pair of socks for the trouble - Awful 😡

Worst service ever!

Worst service ever!! Doncaster Lakeside. Staff standing around doing nothing, no offer of help, walking around like the worked on saville row, what a joke!! Ordered a suit in May told they would have to order it in. Waited until July nothing! Rang them and was told it hadn’t been ordered, guy who served us was very rude had clearly forgotten and was on holiday. Told it would be in the following week could my husband go in and get measured as trousers would need shortening. A week later I rang at 9am and apparently the trousers had been altered and the jacket just came in. They we’re going to ring me! Yeah right! Went down to try it on staff still standing around, no offer of help except for one guy called Lee who was amazing and very helpful. Couldn’t do enough, maybe the rest of them need him to train them! If it hadn’t been for him there would be no stars. Absolutely wouldn’t recommend this shop!!

Derek at Suits Direct in Merry Hill was…

Derek at Suits Direct in Merry Hill was fantastic he was so helpful and friendly from the moment we entered the store. He showed us some options then let us have a look around, so our son could decide what colour and style he liked. When we were ready he gave us the help we needed and he found the perfect size. Our son then tried on the suit which he loved and we found the perfect suit in no time at all.
Derek even suggested some colours of accessories (eg shoes, belt etc) that would go nicely with the suit. It was such a great experience from start to finish.
On this occasion we were shopping for a suit for our son’s Prom.
Thank you so much Derek for your advice, help and expertise.

Terrible service at the Suits Direct Bluewater shop.

Terrible service at the Bluewater shop.
Was looking for a tuxedo jacket. Was served by an employee and chose a jacket for a ticket price of £125. She then suggested we join the mailing list so that we could make use of a 15% discount. Great news for me as I am shopping on a budget. I had no reason to question her as she works there after all! The code didn't come through so she said she would reserve the jacket (which she did) and I could come back later once the code had arrived and that if it hadn't arrived she would apply her staff 10% discount (hurray).
Went back after I'd seen a film which I'd booked. It was boxing day so the shop was shutting at 7pm. The employee who served me had gone home but the jacket was there reserved with my name on it.
When I tried to explain to the other employee what we had agreed he said the 15% discount was just for orders online .. but he said he would apply the 10% (after much knashing of teeth).
When he scanned the ticket (attached shop style) to the jacket it came up with £149 as the price. The ticket was for the right item, emblazened with the right brand, right size and a large £125.
He looked confused. He said I'll speak to my manager. He rang his manager (who was off duty) from a corner of the shop away from me. Long and short he wasn't able to give me the item for the price on the actual ticket and he also wasn't going to give me the discount guaranteed by the previous employee.
The discount you could maybe argue against .. but an item officially priced and reserved then changing price and ths customer being told they'd pay the "incorrect" correct price is unacceptable.
Thanks for the terrible service and the complete waste of time for a jacket I needed for the following day.
It's time shops started honouring their mistakes rather than making the customer pay for them.

Avoid ordering online

Issues with an online order due to their courier choice EVRI! When asked for support as I wasn't getting anywhere with EVRI they gave zero help or support. So basically it resulted in me losing money. I wouldn't recommend online as the customer service is poor as is their choice of courier.

Bricks & mortar shop experience better than online

Needed summery light coloured suit. Amazingly only single breasted suit found in M&S (poor product) and SuitsDirect. Bought Jacket and trousers in Bluewater store. Very helpful/not pushy assistant to find us all the correct sizes we needed. Paid £5 for suit bag (we remember a time when they used to always be free :-(
Didn't have waistcoat in stock though. Ordered online. Eventually got it but was a real palava & ended up paying 75p more for SuitsDirect mistake.
So, also needed double cuffed shirt - not in stock online. Signed up for notification. Got email sooner than expected that shirt in stock. Ordered waistcoat & shirt (>£100) to benefit from free delivery. Received goods in good time (Evri). Wrong waistcoat size sent. Sent back using their system (Yodel). Took pics of everything as proof of return. Refund took about a week to get. Re-ordered waistcoat again. Had to pay for delivery this time (<£100). Luckily was able to take advantage of May bank holiday discount, but still paid 0.75 for their mistake. Got the right waistcoat in end. The products received/bought are good enough quality, clean, right colour etc, just online ordering a bit of let down. Would be a challenge to online order several suits at once for say, a wedding.

The selection of suits was impressive, but it was Andy who truly made my experience memorable. His expertise in tailoring ensured that I found the perfect fit and style for my daughter needs for her prom. The attention to detail and customer care provided by Andy was second to none. I left the store feeling confident and pleased with my purchase. Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for top-notch suits and service!

Brilliant service

Brilliant service. Super quick delivery even though l did not pay for an express delivery they honoured it after l explained l needed it for a wedding. Between me and my husband we ordered 4 suits and had to return them all because they didn’t fit. The returns were simple and we received our refunds by 7 days of the returns. Would recommend and would use again.

Called into the Junction 32 store in…

Called into the Junction 32 store in Castleford this morning looking for a black suit for a funeral. I’m not exactly the shape to find one off the peg, but the man behind the counter could not do enough to help me. I was offered a dark grey or dark blue jacket and trousers and after trying them on decided the blue was the best option.
Value? Can’t go wrong although that’s irrelevant to a point, but it was nice to find someone who cares about getting you the right option Thanks for a greet service not many people like you left sadly.

Let me down 4 days before my wedding…

Let me down 4 days before my wedding with my hire suits for me and my best man!!!! Doncaster lakeside branch_ And I had to contact them to find this out!!!!! Absolutely appalling, the staff was rude but the manager did try and help, he explained it was down to the company not paying the bill to the hire company so they were refusing to fulfil orders.
I won’t ever be stepping in this store again. Appalling service!!!!

Yesterday we ventured into the Trafford…

Yesterday we ventured into the Trafford Centre mainly for the purpose of buying a suit at Suits Direct. As soon as we arrived and were greeted by Andy, it was like meeting up with an old friend. His close assistant, Anita, was a delight. After a couple of fittings, I was suited and booted from head to toe, which was a lovely experience. Andy's professionalism and curtesy were a joy and a total asset to the company.

2 days later get an email from Evri who are just terrible to tell me my package has been damaged beyond repair, how it a suit.

If I knew suits direct used Evri I wouldn’t of ordered, terrible experience never again and a waste of time.

If I could rate higher I would from start to finish El in the High Wycombe branch has been an absolute god send she has been brilliant she has made my experience buying suits for my wedding a breeze,I was so worried that this would be a hard thing to do as everyone in the wedding party is so different but El was fantastic she went out her way to get bits and pieces from the warehouse and other shops if they didn’t have the stock, she has always kept me updated with regular emails and phone calls with the progress of things and really put my mind to rest, El went above beyond and even further to get things sorted for us, El is such a fantastic representative of the brand and Suits direct is truly lucky to have someone on their side that prides them self on customer service and customer relations I really couldn’t say thank you enough :)
