Crypto Tax Calculator lays things out very clearly. In my case, I had quite a complex issue to sort out because I had swapped between different tokens, and it wasn't obvious what was needed, but Arjay identified what the issue was and sent helpful ideas about resolving it. We had to try different things so he was very patient to keep working with me in such a thorough way. I would have been completely lost without his guidance. Thanks, Arjay!

Unfortunately, my conclusion and experience report on Crypto Tax Calculator, distributed by CTC Ledger PTY Ltd., and likely renamed "SUMM" in the future, must be negative. The app is either not yet technically mature or is not maintained. In its current state, it is completely useless for filing a correct tax return. I was initially very satisfied with the app until I realized that the data transmitted from the exchanges by API connections were not fully recorded or processed. But after I uploaded some CSV files from my exchanges, things got really very bad. The results shown by the app were simply absurd and far from reality. The customer service (mainly bot-based) is friendly, but not really helpful if real problems arise. The same applies to technical support. In my case, the problems were not resolved even after almost 3 months and despite written warnings. In this context, I have today sent the notice of termination of my contract with CTC Ledger PTY Ltd. (Crypto Tax Calculator) without notice. In summary, I cannot recommend Crypto Tax Calculator ... and I would not advise anyone to rely on this app for their tax return. "Crypto Tax Calculator" ( CTC Ledger PTY Ltd. ) is not liable to the tax authorities for an incorrect tax return; rather, each individual is personally liable...

Customer service was five stars, I really appreciated how Karl and Ben helped me out. It’s rare to experience service like this, I felt they genuinely wanted to improve their product.

Absoulutely fantastic customer service. On a Saturday morning, I had a conversation with a real human across a number of hours helping to resolve some issues. There is an AI assistant that was helpful up to a point, but readily handed off to a human when it was out of it's depth. And the human back up was VERY helpful and responsive. I had a couple of issues over a number of hours and the response time and help given blew me away.

First off, its an amazing wallet tracking app. Easy to use, great UI and pleasing to the eyes. Whats more impressive tho is how responsive their support team is. They instantly clarified an issue i encountered and made sure i had all the info moving forward. Great service all throughout!

Only just downloaded so going through the pain of reconciling transactions that comes with any onchain trading at tax time, but great customer service experience. Instant response from an actual human (Karl), who patiently went back and forth with me for 2 days until we figured out the issue. Also really like the interface + features so far, have used Koinly previously.

Best tax guide software. Always being updated. Easy to use and anyone can do it. If you need support, the staff is wonderful. Karl never gave up on me and solved any problems I’ve had. I’m a 4+ year user now !

Karl in tech support really helps when you need it. Navigating crypto investments for a newbie can be difficult especially when unfamiliar with all the taxing requirements to be met when you do your taxes. Crypto Tax Calculator has made keeping track of my crypto investments and tax requirements a lot simpler than I thought it would be. It also really helps to have support when you get stuck and they are great to work with. Highly recommend.

I’ve saved thousands on my tax return using Crypto Tax Calculator. After comparing a few competitors, what made CTC stand out was the customer service -quick, knowledgeable, and actually helpful plus the accuracy and depth of the reports. A game changer compared to trying to do this myself in spreadsheets!

I thought the pricing was steep, but it's easy to justify the spend given the thousands I saved. Plus the subsciriton is tax deductible, so in reality, it's like 30% cheaper.

The product felt a bit overwhelming at first, but after a short learning curve it clicked, with the help of some light touch support. In a side‑by‑side comparison, other platforms treated certain movements as disposals, triggering CGT. CTC correctly recognised them as transfers to my own wallet, which prevented a massive tax overpayment. For me, this is what set it apart. The focus on accuracy is their thing.

Overall, reliable, accurate, and worth it for anyone with complex crypto activity.

Had a glitch in the system when upgrading my plan, mostly my fault I think bc after I upgraded I accidentally cancelled my old plan. Anyway couldn't access the site do I sought assistance from CTC support team, was good to get support from human being in a reasonable time frame. They locked in on the task, followed up continuously until the problem was resolved. Good work. Thanks

The user interface is really smooth, and made what is an arduous activity actually quite pleasant.

I used to find it practical to quickly draw summaries of my three crypto exchanges for tax purposes
For some reason they add transactions each year, now that would have pushed me to trader plan for USD 499(wtf) without having any more trades than before.
For me no longer worth the money just for tax statements.

In J uly, I signed up and paid my subscription fee for a tax return statement, which was straightforward and smooth. I also noticed that the company offered a $100 referral reward. I referred my partner using the official referral link, and he signed up and paid his subscription.
When I attempted to claim my $100 reward, I received a notification stating that it could only be claimed after 60 days. However, now that more than 60 days have passed, the reward is no longer available on my account.
I contacted support via text, and the automated AI response claimed that my partner cancelled his subscription and requested a refund. This is not true. When I followed up, the AI only provided irrelevant instructions and I have not been able to reach a human representative.
Although the amount is $100, I believe this conduct is misleading and potentially in breach of Australian Consumer Law. I also raised the issue with the crypto trading platform that endorsed this tax calculator, but the matter was not resolved.
I feel deceived and intend to lodge a complaint with NSW Fair Trading.
I think they can’t be trusted.

I am surprise that this product is open to public.
It looks like a beta version and it needs to be improved a lot and I mean a LOT!
It more like a portfolio to summarize your exchanges but it is very inaccurate when it comes to report the taxes and will require heaps of your time. The app is not intuitive.

It should have a demo video or tutorial, otherwise you waste a lot of time.

In short, if you want something fast and efficient don't use this.
