I had a 16 days tour with Sunrise Sri Lanka Travels. It was one of the best trips I ever had. The itinerary was excellent, it was covered whole country. The driver and tour guide were the best people I ever met. They were friendly, knowledgeable, details oriented, organized and took a great care of me. I highly recommend using Sunrise Sri Lanka Travels for your visit to Sri Lanka.

I reached Sunrise as I wanted to adjust one of their tour itineraries, after first carefully choosing their company out of a few for the best value of the tour. Christopher replied promptly with a detailed itinerary and pricing, which I liked and later extended and adjusted a few times, including after cyclone Ditwah hit just two weeks before my flight, each time receiving very good response from the company.
As I was travelling on my own, it wasn’t easy to find a tour to reach all the places I wanted to visit which had an affordable price at the same time, so I was very happy to have a car with a driver-guide just for my own for the entire three-week trip around the country.
It was the best experience I could have and my driver, Neranjan, was very helpful, arranging trip and timing changes on the go when I needed. An excellent driver, with very good command of English, giving many cultural local insights, he took good care of every last detail of the trip, making it easier and more enjoyable.
My guide for the last day in Colombo was Ruwan and I can only thank him as well as the entire team at Sunrise for their support and professionalism. I am planning to visit Sri Lanka again (still thinking about the scenic train ride to Ella that I missed for unlucky timing after the cyclone) and I would fully trust Sunrise to design my next trip with the same great quality and value as this one.

Sunrise planned an excellent tour for a group of us, four friends, wanting to see some of the highlights of beautiful Sri Lanka in a week. We were delighted with our English speaking driver, full of local knowledge who took us to out of the way waterfalls and other sites as we made our way from one stunning place to another. Highlights of the tour, and there were many, were the Geoffrey Bawa designed Kandalama Hotel and the stunning train ride from Kandy to Ella, six hours of jaw-dropping beauty. Great value for money and an unforgettable week.

Our experience with The Sunrise Team was great and we really appreciated and enjoyed our trip albeit short immensely. Can't thank our great tour guide aka Chubby and al the team involved for making our trip enjoyable.

I travelled with my daughter aged 8 who definitely says she has to go on the Catamaran again! The nature and wildlife and knowledge made available to us was awesome. We are definitely coming back to Sri Lanka for more 🙏. A great big thanks to all at Sunrise.

Mum and I have just arrived home from a trip to Sri Lanka organised by Sunrise Tours. We sorted the flights but everything else was planned and booked by Priya. We told him what interested us and he planned a tour that fitted perfectly including 50th birthday celebrations. We had an excellent guide (Shehan) and we were delighted with the trip. If you’re looking for a holiday to Sri Lanka for any size of group we can recommend you speak to Sunrise who can tailor a trip to meet your requirements. Lovely people, great trip and great price.

This was the best choice I’ve ever made. Never booked a trip like this since I always plan everything myself. The communication per messages was great, they made for me and my boyfriend a tailored trip which included everything what I wanted. They easily made the upgrade of hotels, prolonged the trip and included the places that were not in the itinerary. Last but not least we got the best guide, choffeur, friend in one person- Rouwan. He was smart, nice and friendly and explained just enough to know the highlighting information. Not boring, we had fun. There was a presidential election in Sri Lanka these days any we didn’t know so if I would plan a back journey from TRINCOMALEE to Colombo airport there will be any because public transport didn’t go this day. And I would have had no chance to know. Thank you Sunrise Sri Lanka for one of our best holidays!!!
