Fantastic communication and customer service. At each stage I had a contact to speak to and they responded to all queries promptly and in a friendly way. Every stage from initial enquiry to fitting was dealt with so professionally and efficiently.

This is going to sound strange as I'm writing this review and I've not had any work done!
I was interested in solar and filled out the form. An advisor ( Rupert ) contacted me very quickly and requested copy bills to work out how much I could save. He booked me in for a conference in a few days.
After he'd got the bills he rang me and advised we cancelled the conference. He'd looked at the bills, because there's just me and my dog we are very low energy users. He said it wouldn't be worth it to me because of this.
Some salesmen would have gone ahead but I am giving 5 stars for his honesty.

Sunsave excels at communications, and will overcome any unexpected challenges that arise before, during, and after installation of solar panels and storage systems in a timely manner. In our case the roof tiles system required a more complex solution than originally envisaged, and Sunsave successfully found a work around together with their installer, and rapidly handled the necessary changes to scheduling the fitting of the panels. We've now completed the first year since installation, and outcomes on solar generation, export surplus earnings, and savings on electricity costs have all been met or exceeded. Solar generation and financial payback estimates are proving accurate, and altogether we are very pleased we made this technology-led investment into a Sunsave home solar system that had appeared quite daunting as a process and financial commitment at the time.

I can't fault Sunsave from start to finish.

The process was clear from day one, Leo walked me through the system options honestly, including the trade-offs between inverter sizes, and never pushed me toward a decision. When I had questions about contract clauses, finance terms, or the technical side of things, I always got a straight answer.

The online survey and run-up to installation were smooth, and communication throughout was excellent, every update was timely and clear, right down to the scaffolding schedule. The install team themselves were fantastic on the day: on site early, worked efficiently, and the whole system, panels, battery, inverter, bird protection was up and running in well under a day.

What gave me real confidence going in was understanding exactly what I was signing up for: the 20-year Sunsave Guarantee, Aviva insurance cover, the battery replacement guarantee, and no early repayment penalties. It's not the cheapest system on the market, but the flexibility, transparency, and peace of mind more than make up for that.

A few hours after switch-on and I was already watching the system charge the battery and we were completely off grid. Early days, but everything is performing as expected.

Genuinely happy with the experience and would recommend Sunsave to anyone considering solar.

Our experience with Sunsave has been great! From our initial call, proposal, install and aftercare. They have been in touch overstep on the way and are easy to get hold of directly if you need to. The proposal was simple and straightforward to understand. Yes you can shop around and find cheaper alternatives, which we did, but chose Sunsave due to ease of monitoring, maintenance, warranties, insurance, customer services etc. which we felt we was not going to get elsewhere. Shout out to Tegan and Joseph who made this possible for us to go Solar!

Amazing service through out the process of onboarding and installation of the solar panels. I will like to call out Alex and Sophie for their fantastic and dedicated support who made all the steps very clear & transparent from day one and explained the sunsave plan. On the whole, a good experience. Since installation, there have been delays in getting my paperwork so I have not been able to get signed up for an export tariff to date which is frustrating. This is not necessarily all down to Sunsave as they are reliant on third parties.

My only gripe with Sunsave (via the wonder of hindsight ) is the lack of insight and explanation with regards to the equipment. I was advised that our system was sufficient for our home, looking at the numbers, it appeared so but in reality, it falls over if you put the dishwasher on at the same time as the kettle and/or the washing machine. I may have sufficient battery or sun to power these but my inverter restricts me. With hind sight, I would have gone for a larger inverter, whenever I have multiple devices on, the inverter cannot cope and the system draws from the grid, therefore costing me money, even though I have a fully charged battery or it is a a sunny day where I am producing 4kwh+.
I feel that Sunsave should review this and do more to make customers aware of the restrictions of having a lower capacity inverter. Sharing what impact power hungry devices will have on the system will assist future customers to make an informed choice.

Some will say that as the consumer, I should have done more research, I have learnt the hard way and am now stuck with an inverter that is restrictive at times. I would 100% go for the bigger inverter if I was to make this purchase again. Now I am living with the system and learning how maximise it, this is when you really learn and understand how it works and the devices that will impact your system.

I would recommend Sunsave, I just want people who are considering solar to fully understand its limitations and I expect that Sunsave have a bigger role to play in explaining how the equipment will function up against power hungry devices.

While there was a delay of approximately two months between signing the contract and the installation taking place, I found the team to be professional, responsive, and helpful throughout the process. Communication was generally good, and any queries or concerns I raised were addressed promptly.

The installation itself was carried out to a very high standard. I was particularly impressed by the dedication and professionalism of the installation team, who remained on site until late in the evening to ensure that everything was working correctly before they left. Rather than taking shortcuts, they took the time to fully commission the system, verify that the app readings matched my home’s smart meter, and make sure I was left with a properly functioning installation.

What stood out most was their honesty and commitment to getting the job right. They could easily have left some of the final checks for another day, but instead they stayed until they were completely satisfied that the system was operating as intended. That level of care gave me confidence in both the installation and the company.

As someone recovering from recent hip replacement surgery, I also appreciated the courtesy and consideration shown by the team while working at my property.

Overall, despite the delay before installation, I am very pleased with the quality of the workmanship, the professionalism of the installers, and the support provided by Sunsave throughout the project. I would be happy to recommend them to others considering a solar installation.

Excellent Service from everyone one involved.
The planning of the system was fairly simple on line, however some may struggle with the uploading of pictures and information as some may struggle. But the team are extremely patience helping getting the information sent through.
The installation was confirmed and the installing team arrived on time and manged to finish the job in the first day due to having extra fitters available. They were polite and very friendly. They explained the setting up and how to shut down in the event you need electrical work done.
After care has also been really good in sending documents through in a timely manner so that i can arrange my export tariff and are always readily available when I have questions.
If you are thinking of Solar and don't want the upfront costs than I would highly recommend this.

Very helpful scaffolding company were so helpful even with a small sideway! The two gentleman who did the solar panel and electrical install really were amazing and so quick ! Quality installer s no mess ! Highly recommend! Further update the one side of sunsave letting them down is there Administration. Getting my certificate to get my export tariff takes far too long! Should be hours not days!! Only reason for score change from what would have been a 5 star!

Went through the 30 minute video call and was told i would be called at a set time by a technician. No call, got an email saying cant make the call is next week at a certain time ok? Agreed to it and once again no call.
You seriously expect me to trust a company that cant even make phone calls at a time you arranged?

Had a 30 minute video call with a technician to discuss battery and cable placement. Very switched on guy and my confidence in this company is growing with each interaction. Im starting to feel like a valued customer.

I have had some excellent communications from Sunsave, they have been extremely supportive and have assured me this is the usual service they provide and my initial issue was an unfortunate one off.
I have to say they have really turned this round in a short space of time and im very impressed. Increasing to four stars and will give my final rating after the install.

SunSave have an original product aimed squarely at the right part of the market; those eager to embrace renewables but with other priorities for their savings. From initial consultation to checking-in now the system is up and running, the team have been fantastic. The level of service is exceptional - always a response from your dedicated team; the staff are friendly, knowledgeable and keen to make sure you remain informed. Genuinely - I can’t recommend SunSave and their product enough.

Good communication throughout, scaffolding team were swift and efficient. Solar installation was conducted professionally. From sale to installation it is a positive experience. I would definitely recommend sunsave.

Joseph was my contact for sunsave, he was very helpful and informative and kept me informed though out the process, the team who came out to fit the solar system were very professional,the electrician ( sorry I'm useless at remembering names)made sure everything was very neatly fitted and made sure everything was working perfectly and even called me the next day to make sure everything was ok, so my experience with sunsave has been a very positive one, so a very big thank you to the team at sunsave.
