Upon arrival it was apparent that the school was short of instructors. However, this did not phase them in the slightest. The team of instructors were outstanding. I was paired with a highly professio... See more

Accelerated flight training is hands-down the most cost and time efficient way to train for a pilot license or rating. Our flight training programs are designed to take the student away from his or her daily routine and place them in an environment where they are fully immersed in the subject-matter – free from distractions – keeping the student’s learning curve peaked for the duration of his or her accelerated flight training program. The student benefits from this style of training in terms of both cost savings, and – even more importantly – maximum retention of knowledge and practical skills. As an example, our average flight training time to completion of an accelerated Private Pilot training course (starting from zero) is about 47 hours over a 3 or 4 week period (students with prior training experience may be able to finish in less time). Compared to the national average of more than 80 hours for completion of a non-accelerated training course. SunState Aviation students finish their training in a fraction of the time of students in traditional training programs.

Horrible experience!
Management did nothing. I was left to slip through the cracks , they moved me from instructor to instructor. They kept saying we have plenty of time till it was to late.

Marvellous Experience,Highly Recommended
Was a flying lesson Groupon deal but would be willing to pay more than the full price. Myself and a pal from UK. I'm a complete novice but was allowed to genuinely taxi and take off in the modern glass panel Cessna. Was informed I also made the landing but suspect another pair of hands were involved. Great time in company with our friendly aviator instructor. Well worth the 5*****.

I'm a private pilot because of SunState Aviation
I got my private pilot certificate at SunState in August of 2013 with my father. The experience was absolutely stellar, I had the same instructor throughout my training and they were always able to work with my schedule.

Great bunch of people and equipment!!!
Airplanes are some of the best you will ever see in a school. Top of the line instructors. Facilities are some of the best around. Would recommend to anyone wanting to start flying or trying to add ratings.
