We arrived at the hotel before 10am, hours before the official check-in time. We were immediately given a room which allowed us to make maximum use of our first day there. It was a smaller room, somewhat dated, with limited wardrobe space. However we both agreed it was a good trade off. Most importantly it had good air conditioning! The hotel was in good condition and very close to all the big sites like the Blue Mosque. It had no public bar, or lounge, but this was expected due to its location. The staff were friendly, but had limited English. They showed us how to use the coffee machine in the restaurant and it was available for use all day. The breakfast was adequate with a large cold buffet and some fruit and cereals. The Hamman was lovely but appeared lightly used. We both had massages which were excellent and inexpensive. The rooftop restaurant was extortionate with tiny portions and undrinkable house wine.
