The hotel is clean and the staff are lovely. The common areas are very well maintained. However, some of the rooms are grotty, not maintained and very unloved. The front of the hotel is freshly painted, however the back is not. The rails on the balconies are rusted. Thanks you your help we were moved to a better room. They told us it would be noisy as it overlooks the beach. We were prepared for street noise so that did not bother us. We were not prepared for the beach bar that BLASTED OUT VERY NOISY MUSIC UNTIL 2AM. This is not the fault of the hotel. I don't understand why this is allowed as it was the only beach bar that did it.

Whilst i was delighted to read that your were pleased with some aspects of your stay i was of course disappointed to read some of your observations and i will be passing these to all relevant concerned persons at the San Marco Hotel for their consideration to make the necessary changes where possible.
