Serious Alibaba Policy Violation & Compliance Fraud – Sunwin Beauty Factory Limited

I experienced a serious Alibaba policy violation and certification fraud where buyer protection was completely bypassed.
I’m sharing my case to warn other buyers so no one else becomes a victim.

Seller Information
Company Name: Sunwin Beauty Factory Limited
Related Accounts: sunwinbeauty, sunwinplus, sunwin-tech (operated by the same company)

Violations:

Off-platform payment inducement

Multiple account operation

Fake/inapplicable CE certificate

Passing Alibaba transaction fees to the buyer

Case Timeline
1. Initial Order & Cancellation
Initially, I placed an order through Alibaba’s Trade Assurance. However, due to a change in my business registration and related tax issues, the order was mutually canceled.

2. Off-Platform Payment Inducement
I specifically requested T/T payment under Trade Assurance, but the seller claimed that “custom-made products cannot be paid via Alibaba.”
I misunderstood this as meaning Alibaba’s system could not process payments for custom-made items, and was persuaded to wire the money to a bank account provided by the seller outside Alibaba.
This completely removed all buyer protection.

3. Policy Violations Identified

Seller passed Alibaba transaction fees to the buyer (strictly prohibited)

Same company operated multiple seller accounts to bypass platform scrutiny

For an RF device, seller declared CE conformity under EN55014 (household appliances) instead of the correct EN55011 standard – rendering the CE certificate invalid

Product failed KC EMI certification in Korea, making it illegal to sell domestically

4. After the Dispute
The seller refused a refund, citing “off-platform payment,” and even proposed that I resell the non-compliant product to another country – an unethical and potentially illegal suggestion.

Why This Is a Serious Issue

Off-platform payment inducement → Direct Alibaba policy violation + removal of buyer protection

Multiple account operation → Damages platform integrity

Non-compliant/fake CE certification → Financial loss and potential legal risk for buyers

Buyer Warnings

Never agree to off-platform payments – no matter the excuse, it removes all buyer protection.

Alibaba clearly states: Do NOT make payments outside Alibaba’s secure system, even if the seller insists.

Always verify that CE/KC/EMC certificates match the correct product category and standards.

Before paying, check the seller’s reputation on Trustpilot, Reddit, LinkedIn, and other platforms.

Conclusion
I strongly advise avoiding any business with Sunwin Beauty Factory Limited due to their repeated policy violations and compliance failures.
