Do not use this blacklist

Do not use this blacklist. Will block entire IP ranges based on one domain and will not remove blocks even after years. So basically if you use this list, you will block eventually everyone.

That is not how the Suomispam listing/delisting policy works, which you would probably know if you were a customer. IP blocks are listed only when the problem is larger then normal and all listings are regularly reviewed. Listing single IP or domain is the default. Active spam sightings prevent delisting. Sending spam for years is an aggravating factor, not a defence.

Literally a joke of a company

They said they have blacklisted EVERY DOMAIN in Namecheap because they "knowingly host spammers". I think no explanation is necessary that this is the most ridiculous statement ever. I am a country based in US using English, and I'm blacklisted because they think I'm a Finnish spammer.. What a joke of a company.

The user is not a Suomispam customer. They refuse to believe we are not MxToolbox and kept demanding we remove listings created by MxToolbox on the MxToolbox site. Of course that is not something we can do. Suomispam has never said we list every Namecheap domain, in fact it would be technically impossible. Suomispam only lists about 3500 domains, and we are not aware of ever having included the user's domain. Even if we listed this user's domain, we would not delist based on the user threatening with bad reviews.

We found our DNS on this list too .

We found our DNS on this list too .. no other lists, but we are on theirs. Highly unlikely a small canadian distributor of fasteners is spamming Finland as we don't even speak their language. I've read their blog, apparently they just don't give a poop who they block.

Entire C-ranges are blocked and…

Entire C-ranges are blocked and therefore IPs that have done nothing wrong are blocked.
Very dubious blacklist

We very publicly describe that is exactly how our list works, and our user's should be aware of it. Our policy states: "Whole networks may be listed if they appear to be significant sources of spam, snowshoe ranges or otherwise have allocated a lot of IP addresses for spam."

Terrible Company

Terrible. It has my firm blacklisted for spamming in the Finnish language. Only problem is, we don't have one Finnish speaker and our firm is based in America. Just an absolutely awful, un-insightful, braindead service. Not to mention their horrible customer service skills, arguing and backtalking other reviewers.

Uses a wildcard system to block whole…

Uses a wildcard system to block whole ranges of IP Adresses, with no regard on whether or not it affects people that are NOT sending spam. An absolute disregard for who they affect is a terrible business practice. Will delete this review if/when this changes.

Suomispam refuses to delist based on threats of bad reviews. Listings are only removed once the spam issue has been dealt with.

Total trash

I'm not quite sure why someone sending emails written in the English language would be concerned with an RBL geared towards spam emails written in the Finnish language, but that's beside's the point.

I also don't understand why someone would care about a site that is appealing as an authoritative source cannot be bothered to even install an SSL cert on their site.

Suomispam has proven that they are willing to maliciously list entire ranges of IP addresses, and are completely unresponsive when requesting steps to remove the IP address. You would have to be absolutely insane to use this as your RBL.

Very BAD

Their system includes whole C classes (255 IP addresses) despite these being fragmented in many subnets of different owners whose behaviour cannot be united. In this way they unfairly penalize those who do not generate SPAM but have the misfortune of having IP addresses (our are only 32) numerically close to those that generate SPAM. It would be like discriminating against the Finns only because in their country there is such a senseless blacklist.
PS Actually we love Suomi land

Admin is on a personal vendetta mode

Suomispam.net will list you whole IP based on one customer-domain and will not remove the listing even after half of year without any spam. I can only guess that admin uses his listings as power-trip for personal vendetta for companies that he doesn't like.

Also admin of the site makes blog-posts with personal info of company owners that asks Police to investigate the actions of Suomispam.net.

These blog-posts are written by anonymous, cannot be commented or corrected and basically admin just tries to scare investigations away by giving bad PR for legitimate companies that are just trying to clarify if Suomispam.net is behaving lawfully.

Admin also makes such blogs about these reviews, so reader can make own conclusions about personality of the Suomispam-owner.
