DODGY site STEALS money from pupils and tutors.

I did not even want to give this one star. On three occasions I have students trying to book lesson packs but they were not genuine enquiries so no payments were received.
Infact six attempts were made to take money out of my account. I blocked my card tried to contact the help pages but had no help whatsoever. Yesterday I had somebody who booked a first free lesson with me, I warned them about this site but they have already been charged £39 for absolutely nothing. I’ve certainly not received any payment as I blocked my account with them. I’ve had no contact from superprof about the payment that I should have received either. But the point is that Nothing should have been charged when my first lesson is free anyway.
I have not received that payment so where is it? The company have conned the student and teacher. I don’t know how they’re getting away with it. This site is very dodgy
Look at forums. I advise not to give superprof any payment details. There is no way they are having access to any more of my account details.

What a scam website

What a scam website. They secretly charge for the subscription fee for students which is quite expensive (£39).
I just realize that after 3 months by checking my bill.

Untold scam of SUPERPROF…

There are many websites in the name of teaching and training and one of them is superprof

The whole system of education and training has been ridiculed by them. the have hidden charges with fake profiles and goons in the name of teacher. The enter foreign domains and mint business which could be sometimes dangerous for the learner. The have biased attitude towards certain country. Its all just a lie at sign-up, it's not even subtle. When you request a lesson, it tells you that they only charge if THE tutor accepts, but then they spam you with other tutors, hundreds of kilometres away, saying this random unrequested tutor has "accepted" you. They use this as justification to charge you, even though the tutor REFUSED your lesson. It's the absolute definition of a scam.

The website does not communicate…

The website does not communicate clearly. You register, you pay, the subscription renews automatically, and they charge your card without any notice. I'm not inexperienced with IT, I pay close attention to my subscriptions, yet I didn’t even notice they were charging me monthly. They simply state that your subscription will renew automatically; the email goes to the spam folder, and they don't send any billing notification afterwards. Very poor practice — I do not recommend subscribing.

Superprof.co.in is a scam

Superprof.co.in is a scam. The profiles look fakes without geniune teacher. Initial charges are levied on students and another extra for students when then join the classes. They don't have a contact number and keep on writing without any prompt reply. This guy Vance manages super.co.in here and he is biased against Asians. Did not like the whole thing.

Thieves

Deceiving and misleading in every sense! Don’t bother! Surprised there aren’t more complaints
I normally leave four/five star reviews or I don’t bother as I know it can be damaging, but they are ruthless and underhand

Superprof is Superflop

In response to my initial dissatification , Superprof blamed me for not cancelling the Student pass. They must know that the contract terms cant be indicative but be very clear to the customers and they have failed in that. They say terms are everywhere, but you can't really see them. They failed to me send me the terms and condition when asked. this company is SUPERFLOP. They have no compaints process, a junior level rep will dismiss your complaints and thats the END of your complaint. If they are ready for real deal then let me have a copy of terms and conditions and the regulatory body. I am ready for this are they ? I bet they will not because they are SUPERFLOP.
DONT GIVE THEM YOUR BANK DETAILS.

I have been waiting to be reimbursed…

I have been waiting to be reimbursed for subscription pass that was taken from me 4 times in a row without giving me any access to contact teacher. I have contacted them through e-mail and they have promised to reimburse me but I am still waiting and I have been their customer for the last 2 years. I am quite shocked. Every time I sent e-mail , they assure me that it will be solved and nothing is done.

Unclear 'Student Pass' Subscription

Hello! I have not yet started using your service so this is more a review of your Terms and Conditions.

I have observed that it is not clear how can a user cancel the 'Student Pass' Subscription. Can you please make it clear? I have read the following:

FROM SUPERPROF.co.in:
In order to message tutors, you will be asked to pay a monthly subscription fee of ₹599 (this is the Student Pass), which is not connected with an individual teacher's fees. Your initial payment will only be fully processed once a tutor accepts your initial class request, i.e. clicks 'accept' on their dashboard.* (NOTE: The amount is debited immediately for Paytm and UPI payments). It might, however, be held by your bank to guarantee payment in case of an accepted request before this.** The Student Pass is ₹599 /month and allows students to message as many tutors as they wish during the period of subscription. If several of the selected tutors accept a class request, the student will still only pay the student fee of ₹599 once and thus will be able to choose the tutor they prefer.

The subscription is non-renewable and is a one-time payment. Student pass is valid for a duration of 30 days. During the validity period, students are free to send multiple requests to teachers that match their learning needs.

If several of the selected tutors accept a class request, the student will still only pay the student fee of ₹599 once and thus will be able to choose the tutor they prefer.

If the teachers selected by a student are unavailable, our system automatically selects suitable and available teachers for that student. The student can accept to get classes with these teachers by clicking "Discuss" through the dashboard. The student is now considered to have started using the Student Pass service. Please note that 5 days after at least 3 suggested teachers have agreed to teach the student, the Student Pass amount will be automatically debited from the student's account.

The student can only be reimbursed if the teacher is unavailable. Depending on the case, proof may be requested in order to proceed with the refund. Please note that if the request for a refund in the event of the teacher's unavailability is accepted, the Student Pass subscription will be terminated immediately.

In the case that a teacher has refused to give classes because the student has asked them to complete homework, coursework, exams, or other work on the student's behalf, a refund will not be given to the student. Once a class request is accepted by a teacher, and the contact details are transmitted to the student, Superprof will not be able to refund the student pass. The student can only be reimbursed if, due to the fault of the teacher, no classes have taken place, including any free class. Depending on the case, proof may be requested in order to be able to reimburse. The Student Pass fee allows students to contact and find teachers that are willing and able to teach them. If a teacher is willing to teach a student, but the student, for reasons unrelated to the tutor, decides not to follow through with the class, a refund will not be granted. If the student is able to provide proof which confirms the unavailability of the teacher, Superprof will reimburse that month of the Student Pass.
