Terrible experience, likely scam

I'm pretty sure this company is a scam or one of those Chinese drop-shippers who is constantly changing names and opening new front companies after word get around about how bad they are. I placed my order on July 17th, at which time I was told the shipping time was 3-7 days. One week later, after I had received no shipping confirmation, I contacted customer service who could only tell me that they "are currently awaiting further details regarding the estimated shipment." When I asked how long it would take to get additional details, I was given a canned response that "the issue has been escalated to the assigned department for further investigation." They promised to follow up, which they never did. The walking pad finally arrived on August 8th, except it was not the product I ordered - it was a different model branded "DeerRun" not "Superun." In addition, the box had clearly been opened and retaped, so it was likely a product that had been returned by another customer. I again contacted customer service who first tried to tell me that the model I received was the same as the one I ordered. When I pointed out that their own websites show different specs for the two models, they then admitted they were different but claimed the model I received was "an upgraded version, which is why the specifications differ slightly." Because of all of the issues I experienced, I requested a refund. I was offered $10 and then $30 to compensate for the inconvenience. I continued to insist on a refund, and after additional back and forth over 7 days, I have finally received a return shipping label.

Update: I have continued to get the runaround from this company regarding pickup of the wrong item they sent. Their customer service is terrible (no surprise given all the other problems). I am likely going to have to initiate a chargeback with my credit card to get this resolved. AVOID.

Second Update: I disputed the charge with my credit card, and these fraudsters lied and claimed that they tried to help me and I did not respond. To support their lie they submitted altered email threads with my name and email covered up. This is possibly the scammiest company I have ever dealt with.
