Good while it works

Surestop a great idea and when it works; so convenient to turn off the water at the flick of a switch. After just over two years, my first began to leak around the switch, enough to fill a bowl in a week. My second jammed after just 6 weeks with water spurting from top and bottom and requiring an emergency plumber on a Sunday evening. Customer Services have no sensible suggestion that don’t involve plumbers and another surestop while they check the first. If I am unlucky a third time I shall be looking for a more robust solution that doesn’t involve surestop.
