The service charges much more than it should.

The marketing dept. at Survey Monkey are professional scammers. They do not explain up front limitation of each plan. We signed up for the lowest level paid plan, $100 for one month. This is real money. Only to find we cannot customize the final thank you/acknowledgement page and instead Survey Monkey sends our respondents to a page marketing their service.

I was able to get the information I needed with a free survey.

Generally user-friendly and I love the new AI feature to pull out themes on questions. I wish the data could be downloaded by data quantities in graphs versus by % of answers. We never use the % of answered in graphs, always the quantity number (and if in a pie chart may add %). I cannot find how to switch that so we end up redoing all the graphs. Also, wish there was an option to remove N/A answers so only the % of 'agree' answers, for example, is based on all those that had an opinion not those that skipped or had no opinion.

Easy to set up surveys. What I find complicated is where do I find the results? How do I close a survey? I wish Survey Monkey used language for people like me - such as "Close your survey here" or "see your results here" - rather than having to click through a bunch of screens, etc. It's confusing and usually after each survey, I have to google how to do these things because Survey Monkey makes it difficult.

A tutorial on how to use the platform would be helpful

Have been using SurveyMonkey for years. Their benchmark data is great and template information. Really a good value for money.

I would like it to be easier to compile the responses and include the respondents' written comments.

Oh man, I just love the multi-analysis feature! It's so great to be able to see all of the answers from multiple surveys in one place. It makes data analyzing so much easier. Using Survey Monkey is also very easy. I have been using it for about a year and a half now, and from the beginning it's been easy to use. I like the suggestions that it makes for you as you type in your question. I love that you can customize the URLs and have multiple collectors. The only complaints that I have is that when using multi-analysis, when I need to load more responses, it usually doesn't load them or takes a very long time to do so. I would also like the option of exporting written responses to an excel sheet in multi-analysis. Other than that, 5 stars from me!

easy to create new survey and add answers

Using is very easy. Sometimes I would feel useful if same survey could be translated automatically in different languages. Or even user could choose language and we have answers in same survey combined.

Very easy interface. I liked the AI aspect to create the registration form

SM is easy to use. It is a bit tedious to categorize surveys and close them. I wish there was a drag and drop option to be able to drag surveys into folders to categorize them. I also wish there was a way to close surveys or specific survey links right from the home page instead of having to open the survey.

Not very user friendly when trying to navigate to obtain results from surveys.

I would leave negative stars if I could - what a scam company. I paid $1600 for 6 responses.

The process of SurveyMonkey is great. Very straight forward and easy to follow. However, for the analysis of the reports, it would be nice to be able to pick and choose what information you want to pull for reports. And to be able to combine different surveys.
