I attended Surviving Actors back in 2011 as a new actor in London and have been to every one since! The first event I attended left me feeling so enthusiastic and energised about my move to London and career ahead. It was the perfect platform to meet with other actors and pick up a range of different offers and be introduced to useful services and resources. From the event I met some actors which I then went on to do a Short Film with and got a great offer for new Headshots and a Showreel. I was also lucky enough to meet with the owner of Surviving Actors at the event and established a relationship that's gone on to provide me with a supportive and flexible actor friendly job, since mid 2011 I've gone on to be involved behind the scenes ensuring Surviving Actors is everything it needs to be to help actors flourish and build a solid career! The events are a must, fantastic sense of community, great for networking and an abundance of information to soak up!

I went to my first Surviving Actors event this year and thought it was brilliant. I'm quite new to the acting world and first heard about it by an open casting that was on StarNow. My plan was to just go and audition but as i had to wait around a couple of hours i had a look around the whole event. It was free to get in, and the exhibition room was full of so many different services to help you in the acting world. I took away some really good contacts and information- it made me consider getting a professional voice reel done and to attend some acting classes so i can keep brushing up on my skills. i will definitely go back next year and book tickets to the seminars and workshops that were taking place as the tickets are super cheap and there were some top casting directors there!

Attended for 2 years now at this expo at Radisson. Both times were epic. So nice to be surrounded be other positive actors. Did 2 seminars, and got a 121 with a career coach type person at the last one. So good. Can't wait for next year!
