Communication good, stuck to schedule and installation was good. Now enjoying the fruits of solar energy.

The points of contact with Sustain have been very professional and cordial. The design process with a little drawn out to find the optimal arrangement but the survey and installation teams were excellent. They were proactive when the installation team were affected by last minute sickness and when the removal of the scaffolding by their sub-contractor was delayed, to find a suitable time.

Max and Billy arrived promptly and explained everything that they were going to do. From then on they worked diligently and consciencely until The PV system was successfully installed some 5/6 hours later. This work included digging a 5m trench in the driveway. Throughout they were both very polite, affable and ensured their boots were removed when coming in the house! They took me through the Foxcloud App, tidied up thoroughly and left a first class 5☆ days work behind them.

Sam and Charlie have installed my solar panels and new fuse box. They were very friendly and explained how the new system works. Very pleased with the work they have done.

Sam and Jude turned up punctually and undertook the task of wiring up the solar panels. The work was done neatly and efficiently and they happily answered the several questions that I asked.

Absolutely faultless. The communication, organisation and quality of the work has been beyond my expectations. The contractors who put up the scaffolding to the fitters and electricians arrived on time, were courteous, quick and did a great job. Above all this, the customer service from the centre exceeds anything I have experienced recently from any other industry, by a country mile. I would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Sustain and will be telling all my friends.

Survey was very thorough. Installation went fine despite a few minor changes to timing (one engineer was ill). Fortunately I could be flexible in accommodating the changes.
Care and attention paid to reinstatement of paving slabs that needed to be lifted, and wiring done neatly.

Sustain Solar was the winning bid for the contract from the Hampshire Solar Together initiative. All communication to me after the end of the bid was clear, timely and all appointments (both physical and telephone calls) were kept. From the site survey, through all the steps such as dealing with the network operator, to getting scaffolding teams on site and delivering the panels etc - everything was professionally communicated, and worked like clockwork. It took a couple of hours to get the panels on to the roof, and 3/4 of a day to do the electrics. The deposit was help in a secure deposit scheme, and other professional schemes have underwritten product guarantees. Everything is working well and it has been easy to plug into a good scheme from my energy supplier (Octopus). Overall I feel I've had good value for money and it is difficult to fault anything relating to the installation.

Last autumn I visited a couple of Sustain jobs - an air source heat pump and solar pv. Very good installs. Earlier this month I also attended a webinar "Understanding Domestic Electrical Systems". It just so happened that Colum Boland, the Director of Operations at Sustain, was a guest speaker. Colum sharing his free time and expertise as a qualified electrician of many a year. I found Colum’s advice very helpful – and importantly he spoke to me as a consumer, so I could understand what he was saying. From my experience Sustain comes across as very knowledgeable about heat pumps and solar pv. You get the feeling when you visit one of their jobs that Sustain actually enjoy doing high quality installs and creating a good customer relationship on the phone and whilst doing the work itself. The standard I set myself when choosing anyone to do work in my home is would I be happy with them working at my elderly mum's? The answer with Sustain is yes.

After our boiler broke in December it was a chilly wait for the install. Fortunately Adam and Ryan were able to accelerate the process and get the survey done quickly ready for an install in early June.

The consultation process was clear and report well structured to inform our decision.

During install the team, Bill, Ryan, James, Chris, Charlie, Kevin, and Guy worked incredibly hard to get the install done. They displayed professionalism throughout, answering my questions and being clear with how best we could manage my working from home, leaving the house tidy every day, and advising where my input was needed.

All in all a great experience and would thoroughly recommend. Thank you!
