Swan housing association still no good…

Swan housing association still no good I have wrote previously about this incompetent company I have asked to move for years out of London where rent is cheaper I was getting in arrears instead of helping me they have took me to court to evict me im nearly 60 years old totally disgusting WORSE housing association EVER DO NOT MOVE TO THEIR PROPERTY

I have Swan housing to court twice…

I have taken Swan housing to court twice .They send surveyors ,inspectors,supervisors out they make a list of jobs that need doing and you never see them again .They are quick enough to take the rent .Total s--- show .A Scam Sham association no wonder they have merged with another dodgy association. Their properties are not fit for a dog to live in let alone a human being .The government should never allow such an association to acquire build or maintain any building ,shopping centres etc.

Left my friend who is disabled and a…

Left my friend who is disabled and a pensioner without heating since 28th of December and today is the 8th of January. She is using electric heaters to heat her home and boiling water to have a wash. I have logged a complaint with them and the local councilor. looking at these review it isnt a one off.

Swollen door

I have been unable to lock my door and need to bang it both when opening and closing. Axis Europe (who work for Swan) first visit was end of May 2023 I waited half a year until contacted them. The last 2 months they have missed 3 visits with no show and 2 appointments which both operatives said exactly the same as the operative in May 2023! Yesterday was their latest appointment and no-one arrived. Note all of those appointment I have been waiting for up to 5 hours which is hugely annoying when no operatives coming! Really disappointing and making me furious. I have made several complaints and always given a new appointment only! Very angry that Swan has chosen Axis to do their repairs!

Rubbish management

The property that I live is managed by Swan Housing Group. It's management is horrible. The estate is full of antisocial behavior, criminal damage and theft. Cigarette butts can be found in the lift and corridor everywhere. Gangs often gather at night (after 11pm) and clamor. It never provides CCTV to the victims of a theft or criminal damage. However, vintage product such as old books, old useful materials placed near rubbish bin from the residents, dirty water flow out from the drain pipe of balcony will be recorded by CCTV and will be warned seriously. Actually, this housing group deserves for no star.

In competent swan housing

Swan housing association are the absolute worse housing association they are incompetent and totally ignore their residents I moved into a property with them and have never had so many housing problems in my whole life the block I live in has so much antisocial behaviour doors banging all night rubbish piled up in the hallway my door bell being rang at 4 in the morning by un savory residents I cannot work because I can’t sleep no daylight coming into the flat rats in the bin unit I could go on forever I would tell everyone never to move into a swan housing property they are the worse and they should be investigated by the authorities I’m I’ll with health conditions and they refuse to move me I’ve had to go to the housing ombudsman to seek advice

Shaun de Souza Brady and Phil Greaves

Shaun de Souza Brady of swan housing - billericay and his manager, are compulsive liars who have taken no accountability for the harassment and absolute hell we have down our road. Neighbours are scared to leave their homes but what do swan housing do; obtain an injunction against the victim and make it easier for the harassment to continue. I can’t even believe the service I have received from swan housing. Absolute disgrace!!!!!

Swan are a nightmare

I rented a 3-bed new build house from Swan in Colchester. They charged me full market value. During the 18-months my young family and I lived there Swan's housing officers made our lives absolute hell.

Our next-door-neighbour kept parking her car awkwardly. At the time we had a newborn baby who had complications. We politely asked the neighbour to park more considerately in view of our baby. She did not do so.

We appealed to Swan's housing officer. Contrary to the facts, he sided with our Pakistani neighbours. He claimed our neighbour had accused us of racism. This, in spite of the fact, that my wife is black. Essex Police investigated. It transpired that our neighbour had never made an allegation of racism against us. It had been deliberately fabricated by Swan's housing officer. Why did he act so maliciously? Firstly, we had complained about him to his manager. Secondly, we wondered whether he had a problem with the fact we are a mixed couple? Swan never answered this. These false allegations by Swan's employee caused us a great deal of unnecessary stress. So much so that I had to pay a solicitor to write to Swan. After receiving his letter they backed down.

On the day we vacated the property, another Swan housing officer gave us sheer hell. We had a baby, a toddler and a 200 miles journey to make, with a letting agent waiting for us at the other end. She made a ridiculoue fuss over everything. She had me sweeping cobwebs at a height, placing me at risk. She made a derogatory comment about my wife and a toilet. When we subsequently complained about her to Swan they compensated us £100.

I would strongly advise any family considering renting a property with Swan to seriously think twice. If like us you are unlucky enough to get into a dispute with a neighbour, which can happen, they will not support you, regardless of the facts. When you move out they will do everything within their power to find fault in an attempt to steal some of your deposit.

We found Swan to be a very dishonest, deceitful and vindictive organisation. Swan are a bunch of cheats, liars and bullies. They are downright crooks. Swan is entirely unfit for purpose. They need to be investigated by Colchester B C and TPO. This will only happen if enough of us complain about these fiends

My daughter lives in a ground floor…

My daughter lives in a ground floor flat with her autistic son age 7 when she view property looked good when she moved beautiful laminate flooring gone. Windows don't fit many problems with boiler packing up and last time over Christmas and into New year issues went on for 2 weeks. There is a small garden in from of her flat but has received complaints from neighbours in next block about her son playing on the grass with his toys. He is not allowed. There is no facilities for children to play outside no area to hang washing and people come and go 24/7 with little or no regard that at night banging doors wake the residents. Some of the staff are brilliant the rest not really interested. Only one heater on as the others either don't work or use too much electricity and she is on very limited budget. Swan housing as far as my daughter is concerned slum landlords. So would not recommend this company to anyone my daughter now suffering mental health issues as she had to wait so long to get anything done.
