Quite a step up from my iPhone SE. The display is crystal clear, processor is lightning fast, speakers sound great, photo/video quality superb, and battery has been excellent. It’s not too big and not too small (coming from the SE). It is quite slippery so I got a bumper style case for it and am loving it!

As Apple goes , this is still a strong offering in the iphone arena. Still pricey but the build quality is top notch. If you can deal with the closed way of IOS, this a is a great phone still in 2020.

I just upgraded from an iPhone 6s to a mint condition iPhone Xs. The 6s still met my needs but the battery life was becoming a problem. The Xs is roughly the same size but the visible screen is larger. It's also faster at loading/refreshing apps. It's WiFi is also much faster although this really don't improve my user experience. I upgraded from 64GB to 256GB although with the clever way that iPhones offload pictures to iCloud this really wasn't important. It just gives me flexibility to download more movies for trip in the future. The Face ID works very well and is more reliable than the fingerprint sensor. I often work with my hands and my skin gets roughed up damaging my fingerprint. I'm very pleased with the upgrade at less than half the cost for a new iPhone.
