I bought the Tab S8 ultra as a laptop replacement. Buying a 2 year old used model I feel is a good value for the money. I purchased it for 1/2 of what it would cost new. With a keyboard and trackpad it can do everything I use my laptop for (word processing, excel, e-mails, media consumption), especially with Dex mode. At full price, I do not see the value. With the keyboard attachment, it's not that much lighter than an ultrabook.
