Worst customer service i’ve ever had

Worst customer service i’ve ever had. Try to do everything in their power to not get your money back. Even after delivery problems for 2,5 months (i finally find the package) they would not give me the option to return it to them.

Dont buy here!!

Very bad quality

It's bad, they use a cheap phone screan, and it wil break in a month, and a few months later you can buy a new phone or screan.

Excellent service

I initially had my doubts about refurbish phones, but Swappie exceeded my exceptions. There were multiple issues with my phone within 10 months of usage and they resolved all of them promptly. Customer service was also excellent.

Outstanding Service

I would have put my old iPhone 13 in a drawer and left it there but my partner suggested Swappie. The service from start to finish was excellent as was the communication. They sent a prepaid DHL pouch, confirmed receipt, and made a fair offer price. The money was in my bank account on the next working day.

Highly recommend not buying pohne here

Excellent condition and even premium do not match the description, this is how they sell expensive and damaged phones, first we ordered excellent and it was damaged, so we ordered premium and it was in even worse condition!

Better quality than described

I bought a used iPhone here and was genuinely surprised – the condition is noticeably better than what the description promised. Could not see any scratches. It looks and feels basically like new. Very happy with this purchase – clear recommendation!

Swappie SCAM

My boyfriend sent his device to Swappie on 20/01/2026, and the experience has been incredibly disappointing from start to finish. The phone was shipped in perfect working condition, exactly as described during the online valuation. Yet only a few days later, Swappie drastically reduced the offer to about 10% of the original amount, claiming the device had issues that simply did not exist when it was sent.

Naturally, he declined the revised offer and asked for the phone to be returned. When it arrived, we were stunned: the device was completely destroyed. It showed severe physical damage that was absolutely not present before shipping. It’s hard not to conclude that the phone was mishandled—or worse—while in Swappie’s possession.

What should have been a simple and trustworthy process turned into a deeply frustrating situation. Instead of professionalism and transparency, we were left with a damaged device and zero accountability from the company.

I recently helped a friend sell a device through Swappie, and the experience was unbelievably disappointing. I strongly advise anyone considering Swappie to think twice. Our experience raises serious concerns about how devices are handled and how valuations are conducted.

Thank you for your public reply, but it is important to clarify that what you wrote here does not match what you told me on WhatsApp.
Your private communication is completely contradictory and reveals a very different attitude from the one you are trying to present publicly.

1. You never asked me for proof of the device’s condition.
Contrary to what you claim here, at no point did you request photos, videos, or any evidence of my iPhone’s condition before shipping.
On the contrary: you repeatedly stated that “the evaluation is final” and that “the case is closed.”

2. You never mentioned any contact with DHL.
In the private conversation, there was no reference to an investigation, transport incidents, or verification requests.
Your public reply tries to create the impression that you are cooperating — but that simply did not happen.

3. Your private statements contradict your public version.
On WhatsApp, you claim that:

the phone arrived with a swollen battery,

a cracked screen,

a cracked back glass,

a damaged frame/antenna,

and that the IMEI was verified.

But you refuse to explain:

how you verified the IMEI on a device that does not power on,

how a completely destroyed phone has no marks on the frame,

how the frame is intact when mine had a very specific mark,

how the device you sent back has rusty screws when mine were in perfect condition,

how I received a box that is not mine,

and a label that does not match my IMEI or even my model.

None of this is coherent.

4. I have evidence and witnesses.
And contrary to what you imply, I am not making baseless accusations. I have:

Photos and videos of my iPhone at the moment of shipping

Witnesses from the shop where I dropped off the device

Witnesses from FNAC from the day before

The original box I sent (which is not the one I received)

The label I received, which does not match my IMEI

Clear physical differences between my device and the one you returned

Rusty screws on your device

The absence of the mark on the frame that mine had

All of this proves that the device I received back is NOT mine.

5. Your technical explanation makes no sense.
You claim that:

the phone was “completely broken,”

the battery was “swollen,”

the structure was “damaged,”

yet at the same time:

the frame is intact,

there are no impact marks,

and the IMEI was “verified” on a device that does not turn on.

This is not technically plausible.

6. You tried to shift the responsibility onto me.
You even suggested that I contact my home insurance (!), when the problem clearly lies with you.

7. Your public reply attempts to protect your image — but it does not match the facts.
Your private posture was:

evasive,

contradictory,

dismissive,

and showed no real intention to resolve the issue.

Conclusion
I once again ask you to indicate how I can submit all the evidence so that this situation can be handled with the seriousness it deserves.
Until then, I will continue to report what happened on all relevant platforms so that other consumers do not go through the same experience.

Extremely Disappointment – Cheap Battery

I bought a phone through Swapie and I’m extremely disappointed. I specifically requested a new battery when placing my order, but what I received is not original – it’s a cheap Chinese replacement that overheats quickly and doesn’t hold a charge. Even though it shows 100%, the reality is completely different – it drains fast, making the device almost unusable. I expected much better quality and honesty from the seller. Now I have no choice but to buy a new original battery from iStor.
