Wish I had looked at reviews before purchased a treadmill. was due yesterday but nothing and no response to my emails. Very poor customer service. Need to know as need to be home for delivery .

You cancelled my order

You let me order, showing my item available and then cancelled it saying couldn’t find my product 🙁

Apologies that your order was cancelled. I can see this was a pre-order trainer and their has been a delay with the supplier. As frustrating as this is, it does happen and we have to act to cause the least amount of inconvenience.

In this instance, the delay is going to be weeks rather than days, so we did take the decision to cancel all orders. We can offer a GOGW discount on an alternate pair of shoes. Just email an agent and we can arrange this for you.

Wish I had looked at reviews before purchased a treadmill. was due yesterday but nothing and no response to my emails. Very poor customer service. Need to know as need to be home for delivery .

I can see that you have been in communication with an agent before you left your review ? An agent is getting a delivery update from the specialised courier who is delivering your over sized item. Delivery can take 7-10 days from when you place your order.

Please reply to the agent and we will look at getting this delivery with the courier resolved.

Excellent Customer Service!

Bought some trainers which delivery company Evri failed to deliver. Contacted Sweatshop who apologised and said we had to wait a few days to confirm the loss and we could then have a refund or replacement.

Immediately when a few days had passed they arranged for a replacement as requested and it arrived the next day via DPD.

Things can always go wrong with any purchase and it’s the way the company reacts that shows how good their customer service is.

5 stars!!!!

Lacking in Customer Service

Good prices but I wish I knew they didn't have a contact number before ordering.
Makes it very difficult to sort issues out.
This wouldn't be so bad if they actually replied to emails...

No way to contact Sweatershop.com for…

No way to contact Sweatershop.com for an exchange. And I never heard back from them to my email inquiry. This is not the right way to do business. No more deals from me , and would not recommend this shop to anyone.

21st Venue

Velvet room at Sweat Shop was booked for my child’s 21st.
Great food! Delivered at the set times. Everyone who ate the food thought it was delicious! Friendly and attentive staff with personality and smiles. I would recommend SweatShop as a great 21st birthday party venue. Great memories and fantastic manners.

Bought new shoes £250 that have clearly been used.

Bought expensive Nike Running shoes for £250, they arrived on time but the shoes have clearly been used. No tags on them and the sole is dirty. Really disappointed.

Worst experience ever as with the Sportsdirect

Sweatshop is also a Sportsdirect company and they do the same thing. You order the goods, pay and they sit on your money until you complain about where your order is, which will never arrive. I think the idea could have been taken from a Guy Ritchie movie. The company may have a liquidity problem. Be that as it may, I will never order from them again, nor from Sportsdirect, where they played the same game on me. If I could give their service a zero, they would get it.

Customer service is an oxymoron

Customer service is an oxymoron. No phone number, just a rubbish web chat that fails miserably to provide any help whatsover. It appears to me at least the Sweatshop despises it customers and clearly avoids contact with them. I had a problem with a return and the excessive post and packing charge, I could not get a statisfactory outcome.

Thank you for your review. We like many companies have several postage options starting at just £4.99 for a standard service.

We do offer a paid returns label on a case by case basis, or if we send out an incorrect item or make an error in any other way.

Our CS team would have given you this option if it was warranted. Our chat line is active from 10am to 4pm and we are answering emails within 6 hours at present.

No NIKE warranty as not an authorised reseller.

I bought a pair of Air Zoom Pegasus 38 Mens Running Shoes. They have developed a fault (started making a loud squeaking noise as I walk).

There is a 2 year warranty on Nike shoes, but Sweatshop won't honour this. If you're buying Nike shoes I suggest buying elsewhere, as this is the second pair of Nike shoes I have bought which have suffered from this issue in under 12 months.

Nike may offer a 2 year warranty for manufacturing faults if the purchase was made through them directly.

We always look at individual issues from purchases made via our website on a case by case basis. A squeak is not classed as a manufacturing fault unfortunately.

Quick & Easy Ordering Experience

Saw a few negative reviews so was a little cautious. But also read that Sweatshop was a subsidiary of Sports Direct (which I checked on Google). Decided to proceed and ordered some Nike Court Vision Trainers in White/Olive Green which weren't in our local Sports Direct store. Ordering was straightforward (and got 10% discount for 1st order which covered the postage cost). Clear communication regarding order and despatch by both Sweatshop and Evri and trainers arrived within a few days.

Happily take your order only to cancel…

Happily take your order only to cancel it later saying that they don't have stock. Then tell you it will take close to a week to refund you.

Oh to add salt to the wound they then email you ask you if you're interested in the same shoes?

Bizzare store owned by SportDirect

Was waiting two weeks for my items, supposed to be delivered on 27th March while today on 4th April they have cancelled the order saying they don't have items in stock anymore.

Why Sport Direct did not incorporated this store after they bought it but instead they keep it running on a "barely making it" basis? What is the point?

you have to pay your own return postage - be warned

The order page shows you quite clearly that items have a flat £4.99 basic delivery charge, regardless of items - not great, but fine.
What's not obvious on the order page is that they don't cover return postage - it simply says you can return items within 14 days for a refund.
So, ordering 2 sizes to try (trainers in this case) end up costing way more than you expect.
£4.99 deliver, then £11 to track a return.
