I’m at a loss to know where to start. We have been totally let down by this firm. November 2025 we accepted a quote for a replacement heating oil tank. We asked that this could be done after I returned from Australia in April to which they agreed. Before leaving and on returning I had sent numerous emails and also made at least six phone calls to see when this would be done. Finally I made headway and spoke with someone who said they would resolve this. The result, a call late in the day to say they no longer fit replacement tanks. I hope this is a warning to potential customers. I now believe that they are owned by a firm called NWF
SINCE THIS REVIEW I HAD AN ONLINE REPLAS SEEN BELOW. I SENT ALL RELEVANT EMAILS AND CONTRACT AND GUESS WHAT, I HAVE HEARD NOTHING

Absolutely shocking customer services! Rude and sarcastic when I was only enquiring when I’d expect my delivery. The customer service advisor either needs retraining or sacking! They put the phone down on me TWICE!!! Left me feeling very upset and shocked.
Ordered red tractor diesel on Friday 27 Feb. Rang on following Tuesday to find out delivery day as I keep my yard locked. Was told delivery was Wednesday so made sure I was around all day, no delivery!!
I rang again and told definitely Thursday and yet again no diesel!! Rang again Thursday afternoon and told second delivery on Friday, in the meantime I've completely run out of tractor diesel and had to buy 50 litres of white from a garage at great expense. Yet again no delivery Friday morning so I rang again and was told by two different people that definitely be here Friday afternoon guaranteed. And what a surprise no diesel. Never had any trouble when Dave was there. Our farm has used you for heating oil and diesel for years but not for much longer as customer service is awful!! 😡😡😡
Seeing the many poor reviews shows my experience with Sweet Fuels is the norm. I will have been waiting 17 days for my delivery if it comes on the 2nd latest date promised. I’m currently 8 days without heating and although I paid at time of order no communication is given that your order is delayed. It just doesn’t arrive.
Sweet Fuels has gone totally downhill since their acquisition by NWF. Latest example - I called late January to check on my next automatic top-up. Promised it would be by 2nd February, and came back from holiday on Saturday 14th February to find cold house and empty tank as no top-up. Sweet couldn't do anything over the weekend, so chased up Monday 16th, and they couldn't promise until Tuesday 17th earliest, but Michael would call me back within 2 hours. 3 hours later, no call. Orders/direct debit/top-up arrangement all cancelled after many years. Goodbye and good riddance to Sweet Fuels.

Phoned last Monday for an order. Was told delivery would be Friday. Friday phoned to check and was told, nope, wont be happening and that we would get a confirmation call that day for delivery on Monday. No call received. Called Monday morning and was told issue is being flagged and marked as urgent and that we would be called during the day. No call. Called again Monday at 16.45 to be told issue would be flagged with planning team. Called again this morning only to be told they cannot confirm a delivery date and that we should have been told there is a ten day window last Monday! Paid for a sensor for our tank when we signed up with them, to date no sensor has been provided. Appalling service.

Waited 10 days for an urgent delivery which still wasn’t scheduled for delivery. Going elsewhere. Very disappointing.

Ordered and paid for oil nearly two weeks ago and still no delivery. Have called everyday this week asking for an update and keep being fobbed off with different excuses.

The Oil was delivered and on my return to the house to my horror found the tank had cracked halfway down, after getting help from my neighbours (I'm 75 years old and registered disabled) we applied soap to the crack. I telephoned Sweet fuels, who had delivered my oil, and who I have been a customer via the village syndicate for years, who came out and stuck a small amount of duck tape over the crack, saying that would ok for the TWO weeks until the new tank would arrive. J foolishly believed that, until the following morning I was met with oil spraying out the crack as the temporary repair had failed (understatement) more neighbours help, more soap, much more tape. On telephoning Sweetfuels I was told they don't 'do' emergencies and to look on Google!!!! I found a lovely company , County Oil Tank Solutions, who knew the serious situation I was in and came, drained my tank and installed a new one within 1 day of my frantic call. What has happened to our lovely Sweet fuels who would help anyone in a moments notice.

Delivery driver was friendly, professional and efficient. Was careful around family pets without making a fuss of it.
I have been dealing with Sweetfuels and Brothers Petroleum before them for forty years. Today is the first time in all those years that we have run out of oil (there is a problem with the gauge on the tank) and is precisely the sort of occurrence why I have not shopped around. No offer of any assistance. Customer loyalty no longer pays.
I've always found the office staff to be very friendly and helpful and will always try to help with a 'short notice' delivery if needed. The Tanker drivers are great. Friendly, reliable, out in all weathers and they climb the hills out here in the 'sticks' without any fuss and just get the job done. Excellent service all round.
I have dealt with Sweetfules for some years now I find them friendly professional and very reliable
What is not to like - competitive pricing, excellent service by all concerned and prompt delivery. My first choice every time.
Fantastic from start to finish, Sandie was fab in helping us finalise our order and delivery was quick and efficient. Will be ordering again.
Excellent contact and phone response. Wayne, our tanker driver, always so pleasant and helpful. Used Sweet’s for years, spot on service.
Order process went well, competitive price and prompt delivery.
Company let down by accounts chasing up an alleged outstanding amount and send credit department reminders despite many phoning in to ensure they updated there records accordingly.
However, in their defence when the correct person returned from holiday they found out the cause of their mistake and have promised to sort things out.
Quick, efficient and friendly staff. The delivery driver was also helpful and friendly. Oil arrived when said.
I had a delivery about 4 weeks ago when the delivery ticket was more or less blank, so I had no idea how much had been delivered. Unfortunately this event coincided with the failure of the Watchman remote fuel gauge. This recorded that my tank was about one third full, when it should have been almost completely full.
Without going into all the tedious details, I tried to get them to discuss the matter with me, but they were not interested and unwilling to engage with me. I didnt really doubt that there had been a delivery, but I needed some reassurance and help with the situation. I am 82 years old and have been a loyal customer for over a decade. I had to buy another gauge from the firm which installed the boiler at a cost of almost £300, which I am still not sure was necessary.
As a result of this unsatisfactory experience I will move my custom elsewhere in future

Rang Sweetfuels in a bit of a panic as my WiFi meter read empty and it was coming up to the Bank Holiday weekend (my fault for not closely monitoring the levels).
Delivery arrived within two days and topped up the tank with a surprising half-tank amount. It seems the meter was falsely reading the level!
However, I'm very impressed with the sales guy who put me on to an emergency delivery schedule, with the driver who manoeuvred into my rather tight drive, and for the help adjusting the meter to read correctly - which it now does. Used them for a few years now and can highly recommend them.
