Item Returned and Refunded Promptly
I ordered a Hive SLR2d receiver from Swift Spares. Unfortunately, they did not have one in stock so sent an alternative. However, this was not suitable so had to be returned. Swift Spares paid for the return and refunded the purchase price and postage promptly.

Due to a glitch in our inventory management system, this item was indeed out of stock when Simon ordered the item. We emailed him within 48 hours explaining that we could send out an alternative which was fully compatible, or refund. We have provided proof of this email. We never had a response before dispatch so sent the alternative. He contacted us once it arrived to say it wasn’t what he needed, and we provided a pre-paid returns label to return the item for a refund. We feel we have done all we can to help, with absolutely no understanding from the customer. We all make mistakes

I needed a part very urgent for my heating system i ordered it online at 13:30 and paid the Post Office special delivery service offered at checkout and received the replacement part within 20 hours at 10:00am next day so was able to get things working again excellent service and thank you

A rare gem of a company providing outstanding customer service
It's rare these days to find a company that puts customer service above profit and can turn problems into positives. Swift Spares is one of these.
With my first item faulty and the replacement damaged in transit, Swift Spares sent a third item on a next day delivery without quibble. They covered the cost of all delivery and return charges, again without quibble. I couldn't have asked for more.

Good price and well packaged
The Hive controller arrived when expected and I was able to replace the faulty one in my heating system with ease. Getting it to talk to my thermostat took quite a bit more effort, but I now have a fully functional hot water and heating system.
