Frauds and bullies. will cheat you out of your money.

I uninstalled the Swiggy app. they are frauds. My order was delayed by close to an hour as the delivery partner was not assigned. the support bot kept pushing delivery time. after wasting my 15 mins when I said cancel the order, they hurriedly assigned a partner and refused refund even though the entire failure was at their end. In lieu of my troubles they have offered me 500 rs conditional coupon ( total order value was more than 3000 rs.) Also said they won't help me unless I accept the food delivery.

2nd time they wouldn't let me cancel order even though I tried to within seconds of ordering. The bot kept delaying it and then they said they won't offer refund if I cancel after 60 seconds of ordering - but where was this elusive button to cancel my order immediately?? It seems coercion and bullying is their new mantra.

Horrendous customer service

Horrendous customer service. My order arrived missing the main ingredient, and even after I sent clear proof, I was only given a coupon instead of a refund—with no option to choose. The coupon was restricted and didn’t even work. Support was slow and kept asking for the same information again and again, dragging out something that should’ve been simple. For such a small amount, this was way more frustrating than it needed to be. I’ve deleted the app and wouldn’t recommend it to anyone!

They are just theives.

They are just theives.
This is how their customer sevice after they get the money. they failed to arrnage a delivery and for that they wanted to bear a 100% cancellation fee.
their customer support agents are no way different from that chatboat.
You tell them anything, they only one scripted reply - SORRY for the inconvenience.
they wont even read what you're typing.

Damaged Delivery and Rider Misconduct…

Damaged Delivery and Rider Misconduct Very disappointing experience with Swiggy Instamart on [05-04-26].
Received completely damaged and unsafe items — 6 ice creams were melted, the chicken cheese fill pack was cut open, and the chicken kheema was leaking and almost out of the packet. Even the delivery bag was torn and wet.
Tried reaching support twice, but no proper help. My first complaint was closed without resolution. Even after emailing, I was only told to wait 24–48 hours.
Worst part — when I refused the delivery, the rider threw the items on the road and left.
This is completely unacceptable, especially when it comes to food safety. Extremely poor service.

My food arrived late, and it was completely cold.Swiggy doesn’t even accept its mistakes, and instead of giving a proper refund, they provide coupons that aren’t even valid. Swiggy is completely fraudulent and should be banned.

Very disappointing experience

Very disappointing experience. My order was delivered late, and the food was completely cold. I even called the restaurant twice to request changes, but they ignored my instructions despite taking full payment. On top of that, the refund provided was not as promised. Poor service, lack of responsibility, and no respect for customers. Definitely not recommended.

Complaint Regarding Wrong Order Delivery & Refund Request

I am writing to formally escalate a serious issue regarding my recent order, which has been handled in a highly unsatisfactory manner.

Date: 29/03/2026

Instead of my actual order, I was delivered a completely incorrect order that clearly belonged to Zomato (different packaging and bill). This reflects a major lapse in your delivery process.

I immediately reported this issue to the delivery partner and raised a complaint through your app. However, to my surprise, the complaint was denied and closed without any proper investigation or resolution. This is unacceptable and indicates negligence and poor customer service.

I would like to highlight that I have sufficient proof (photos/screenshots) clearly showing the wrong order delivered.

I demand the following:

Full refund of my order amount
Appropriate compensation for the inconvenience, delay, and distress caused

Please treat this matter as urgent and resolve it within 48 hours of receiving this email.

i ordered something and it showed 45…

i ordered something and it showed 45 minutes and after the 45 minutes when i talked to an agent she said it will be 30 minutes more and after those 30 minutes she still said 30 minutes and then she asked me if it’s okay to cancel the order and refund the amount i said yes, the amount never showed up to my account and the order got cancelled and they didn’t even compensate me just said we are sorry and this inconvenience won’t happen in the future, i was on the agent’s chat for 40 minutes and she replied really slow( the agent’s name was shamiya)

Fraudulent company

Fraudulent company. they delivered wrong order. called delivery guy, didn't pick up. chatted with customer care, they asked to email a pic of the wrong order . after weeks of back and forth they say its not in their policy to issue a refund citing some random reasons

Worst ever service.

Worst ever service.
We had order for beer glasses, milk, sprite cans, multigrain chips and since there was offer we got Greek yogurt for Rs1.
Now since they didn't had the glasses they charged us delivery fee plus for the yogurt Rs 60 also they replaced cans with bottles. Which we didn't want. Also the person who came to delivered is saying it is marked delivered I cannot take it return why are we supposed to suffer a loss. You can cancel the order or make a call before doing these changes without our permission. Chat agent also couldn't solve, no option to call. Worst ever service.

You should lay off all of your customer support i guess they are not even listing or want to help the customer.

You sould use AI insted. Lying to customer nd dont have the right layout for app. Go do some research on how to handel customer nd their needs.

Worst experience- was asked to pay cancellation charges

My order initially showed 30-35 minutes and after 45 minutes it still showed 22 min delayed as they couldn't find a delivery partner and when I connected with an agent, you wouldn't believe the kind of responses I received. He wasted another 25 minutes with slow responses and when I asked him to cancel my order and give me a refund of my money he said that a refund won't be possible as Swiggy has this policy where they don't allow the food to be wasted so I need to pay 228 rupees cancellation charges. Wow really wow - the agent name is Shatrughan and worst experience really worst experience.

I booked a table for 3 using dine out…

I booked a table for 3 using dine out for a restaurant in Goa, Later I paid the amount using my HDFC Swiggy card, Afterwards I got to know its a different restaurant with a similar name and location. I raised the issue with Swiggy & dine out team with all the screenshot and details. It’s been 15 days and I still haven’t heard anything from them. No update no refund. These kind of fraud activities should be stopped and customers service should be improved

Swiggy has played a cruel joke on us

Swiggy has played a cruel joke on us. We placed an order for two burgers from Burger King at 9:48 AM and the delivery arrived at 12:00 PM. We returned the delivery and refused to accept it because it was lunch time. We have been fined ₹210 and deducted from our next order. I want to ask why this has been done?

Worst app ever

Worst app ever, always no delivery partner to deliver food when ask to cancel cos of their fault thy charge d whole cancelation on customer head n speak as if tht are very clean, I'm sorry u guys need to shut down ur damn company u guys are good at scamming customer in the name of cancelation fee where u delivery partner steal customer food, no professional when v chat or call no proper response when chose English some dude speaks in hindi what's d point having a IvR when u can't direct the customer at d right team, customer rep am very arrogant insist us to wait n threaten us with cancelation fee when it's customer fault, shut down ur damn company it's ur guys are going to the dogs where only one suffering with customers n vendor not u bastards
