I never thought I'd be able to swim 5km a day on consecutive days but the team make it so manageable. I felt completely safe and looked after by our guides and boat crew and it was great to share this experience with others who love to swim. Our group bonded so well and there was so much to see underwater. I'm hooked and will go on SwimTrek holidays for as long as I can!

The Montenegro coast is a beautiful place to swim with so many shoals of fish to see. The week was thoroughly enjoyable. We could not have had better guides. They went out of their way to ensure we had an excellent holiday. The lady at the hotel treated us like family and looked after our needs very well.

Having been on several Swimtrek trips I have always had a brilliant time. As a regular swimmer all you have to do is turn up with a swimming costumes and googles and everything else is sorted by Swimtrek. They always have knowledgable and friendly guides who cater for all levels of swimming abilities and the swims are in interesting and beautiful locations!

Exceptionally well organised, from the moment of booking right through to the end of the trip. Clear information and timely responses to any queries. Guides and boat crew who are experienced, safety conscious, friendly and professional.

An amazing trip. Everything exceeded expectations- location, accommodation, the guides and skippers - just an amazing experience to be able to swim on these beautiful islands.

The week was challenging, inspiring, and relaxing in equal measures. The swims were balanced, the food and scenery were incredible, and the people made the hours pass in good cheer.

So enjoy sea swimming in Europe in September when the schools have gone back and the sea is at its warmest. Will probably return and do a different Croatian trip next year.

Swimtrek focus the holidays primarily on the safety of the swimmers but provide the most magical experiences in magnificent settings.

Sali, Croatia, and its surrounding islands, are an incredible place for swimming. Sali itself is a very welcoming, relaxed small town. Guides Jason Brandt, Hamish Newton and their local boat crew were amazingly organized and helpful well beyond expectations . The group was excellent and made the whole experience unforgettable. Highly recommended!

Brilliant company to holiday with. Booking etc it very easy. The trips themselves are extremely well organised and you are looked after very well.

I have just completed my second SwimTrek for 6 days in the beautiful Kornati Islands of Croatia. From start to finish, the experience was amazing. The hotel is basic, but has everything you need, staff are friendly and has a beautiful bar also selling good coffee overlooking the sea. The hosts were incredible. Jason and Hamish could not do enough to keep us safe, supported, well fed and watered and happy at all times. The boat was comfortable and the crew were also fantastic. The swims were longer than my first trip - 5k a day, but even the slower swimmers were fine completing this, and you can get out when you’ve had enough so don’t be put off by the distances. Can’t wait to book my next one!!

Great location, fantastic guides

Over the summer, I joined my first SwimTrek, which was also their first in the Bahamas. It's my new favourite way to holiday!

At no point did it feel like the first time they'd done it - Jason and Dionne went above and beyond to not only ensure we were both safe and happy during the day, but also offering recommendations for the evenings. Nothing was ever too much trouble.

Stunning location, great people, good food, well organised and plenty of time to relax as well as swim - I was looking at where else I could go before the trip had even ended!

Hamish and Jason were fantastic guides who made the whole week so fun. They kept us safe, but equally, were laid back and made it truly feel like a holiday. It was such a cool way of visiting some less touristy parts of the Kornati Islands Croatia.

I've been on three trips organised by Swimtrek and each one has been fantastic. The locations have been carefully selected to be a little off the beaten track offering great swimming experiences in beautiful waters. The guides are knowledgeable and totally focussed on everyone's safety. I'd not really swum in open water very much before my first holiday and was very nervous, but by the end of it I was hooked and booking the next one.
