In April 2020, I ordered, as a special offer, 100 pcs."On Call Extra" test strips for €12.50. The strips, however, had a sell by date of 31st July 2020 which was not mentioned on the website and therefore not part of the special price. We came to an agreement that I would return these strips and get new ones (with an appropriate sell by date of approx. 2 years) when a new batch would arrive in about 6-8 weeks. I returned the 100 teststrips, however, after 7 weeks of waiting, they changed their mind, denying the agreement. They refunded, without telling me the reason why, €22.95 (the normal price for 50 teststrips) to spend on new strip (next week when the new batch will arrive). Without any communication they refused to stick to our agreement (after all, I would keep my rights to the initial special offer of 100 test devices). Instead, they refunded the amount just enough to buy 50 devices, contrary to the 100 strips as agreed. It's unbelievable how they wriggled out of our agreement. Even worse, they refused to explain the reason why. Their behaviour was extremely rude and condescending. They refused to explain themselves and were not willing to communicate in a reasonable way. It was obvious that the person who handled this case (the director) had no knowledge of the agreement as it was written down by one of the staff members; moreover, he acted very self-righteous and haughty. Clearly, he hadn't read this agreement at all. It was bewildering and very disappointing to experience this kind of behaviour, especially as this company acts professionally and customer friendly during our first contact. However, as it comes to keeping promises, they show their real face, which is a dishonourable, misleading and malicious one. The worst thing, however, is the very unpleasant, impolite (even rude), haughty, arrogant and belittling way they communicate (the director) or better, trying to shut you up. In my opinion (and experience), this company is not trustworthy. First, they sent me old test devices without telling me in front. Then they promise to correct their mistake, but when push comes to shove, they run away from their obligations and turn out to be irresponsible, unreasonable and dishonest people who act in an ill-mannered, most disagreeable way.
I was thinking of choosing this company to purchase the equipment for our doctor's office. After this experience, I hope that I shall never forget the name of this company, just to be sure to avoid them. Never again.

Updated review after Swiss Point of Care contacted me

I am updating my review based on a phone conversation with the company. They showed me the contact link way down on the bottom in small letters, but it IS there. They also informed me the package I ordered on the 30th was just now shipped and sent me the track and trace for it. They informed me that I will receive it tomorrow.

Thank You For The "Wine Pills"!

Some years ago, when my body reacted badly to prescribed statins, a friend based in Switzerland, told me about Polyphine extract (polyphenols) as an alternative. This I discussed with my young GP, a forward thinking medic, agreeing to co-operate to avoid statins, that caused me intolerable muscular pains. The result has been sufficiently beneficial, that my cholesterol condition has been managed to an acceptable level and I am pain free. I continue to take, what we laughingly refer to as 'wine pills' and have been spared the lasting effects of long-term medicinal drugs.
