The swivell boots are absolutely gorgeous. They fit like a glove and are so well made. I went for the green and they really are stunning and ideal for swing dancing.

Incredibly fast shipping, very nice shoes, the leather is so soft. I wasn't sure about the size so I ordered another one which was a very easy process.

I've been looking for comfortable and vegan shoes for a very long time for swing dancing. Swivells' vegan sandals are insanely comfortable from day one (my feet didn't even need to adapt!), beautiful and ethical. I was so happy to have bought the golden ones that I just got the black ones the moment they came back into stock!

Shipping from France to the US was incredibly fast, which was especially great considering how excited I was to start dancing in my new Swivells. I bought the Mama Chestnut ankle boots in brown leather, and they really are as gorgeous and soft in person as the website says. I'd highly recommend ignoring the sizing guidance though -- rather than sizing up if you're in between sizes, go smaller. The larger size was a bit too big on me, and several of my dancer friends said they'd done the same thing.

The model I got (Donna Up) has a bit of ease length-wise, which is great when your feet tend to swell.
But because I am one of those dancers that have average to narrow feet, my feet tend to slide forward into the ease, making them a bit too long when my feet haven't swollen yet.
Having the width of the shoes marked on the website sizing would be amazing to gauge that too.

All in all, happy experience with this shoe brand. Would buy again.

My new dancing boots are sooo comfy! They fit my style. Dancing is also much easier because of the smooth sole. I love them. Will now also order the sandals to wear with a dress.

I bought a pair of Swivells shoes, boots specifically and they have been amazing! The comfort and support they provide are exceptional, making long dance sessions much more enjoyable. The soles have just the right amount of slide, perfect for gliding through spins and turns. The craftsmanship is top-notch, and I love the vintage-inspired design—they look great on and off the dance floor! Highly recommend Swivells for anyone looking for stylish, high-quality shoes for swing dancing.

I just received my first pair of Swivells in time for a dance exchange, where I danced in them all weekend (I was even reluctant to switch in for heels for a Balboa dance because these are so comfy!)
Two things:
1) The customer service was excellent. My feet are short but wide, which has resulted in multiple returns/exchanges when buying dance shoes at other places. Amalie reached out to ask for my foot size to confirm that the sizing was correct, and they shipped that evening. They arrived in the U.S. in a matter of days and fit like a glove (along with shoe polish, a tote, and a dust bag).
2) Because what really matters is how they feel while dancing--these are so smooth when spinning or swiveling and quite supportive. I am instantly more balanced because of the ankle support, which means that I'm able to take more creative risks and play more with moves. No substitute for actually drilling things like turns, balance, and tone, but even when I switched in for other pairs of dance shoes, I found myself slightly improved. Talked to other follows with these shoes and they said the same thing. So worth it and I'm already considering another pair!

I was waiting for use my new Mama Poppy shoes. I love it, the model, colour...They are very comfortable, and i loved the packaging with a little box with black cream. I love this brand and I will repeat my experience, i'm sure. Thanks!

The shoes are really cool and they were delivered very quickly. I tried them on the social dancefloor and they're great!
