I had a great experience working with Swoop Antarctica while researching a potential trip. Although I haven’t booked yet, that decision was based on my own timing—not anything on their end.

I worked directly with Angie Birkett via email, and she was fantastic. She was incredibly responsive, answered all of my questions thoroughly, and provided helpful resources that made the planning process much easier. At no point did I feel rushed or pressured—just supported and well-informed.

Customer service like that goes a long way, and it definitely left a strong impression. When I’m ready to book, I will absolutely be going through Swoop.

Swoop really knows the Antarctic expedition market. They made spot-on recommendations for their partner companies. Also they took care of the details of my trip and kept me informed about changes and new travel requirements. The staff patiently answered all my questions. All parts of our trip were excellent, from accommodations, transfers, insurance, tours to selection of Antarctic cruise company (Albatros Expeditions). All recommendations were great and we had a flawless vacation. The preparation information and podcasts were spot on. Their recommended tours were outstanding. The cruise on Ocean Victory was all that we had hoped for, with outstanding and friendly on-board staff along with terrific expedition guides. Our discussions with SWOOP team members was friendly, helpful and prepared us well for an expedition to Antarctica. We highly recommend working with SWOOP. With all the details of this trip, not one issue came up and we give the credit to SWOOP. Even the weather was good, although maybe more luck than good preparation.

Follow-up and responsiveness to questions was excellent. My trip exceeded expectations and Swoop was there when needed throughout.

Swoop reps were professional, responsive and extremely helpful in guiding us through planning for our adventure to Antartica. I can’t imagine trying to manage that on our own. The ship selection was exactly what we wanted and we didn’t have to worry about transfers, hotel reservations, tour guides, etc. They managed it all based upon our interests.

Swoop gave my cousins and I a number of great Antarctic cruises to choose from. They listened to what we were looking for (a small ship with daily excursions to get close and personal with the land and wildlife) and put us on to Oceanwide! Awesome choice. Lots of excursions (every day except when sailing all day) and excited, knowledgeable and friendly staff.

Our contact Sarah was always easily accessible via email and put together a flawless itinerary for us. The hotels pre and post were great and transportation always arrived on time. No question went unanswered or was too small. I would recommend Swoop to anyone thinking about booking a trip to Antarctica.

Great ship with highly experienced crew. Outstanding expedition team which contributed greatly to amazing experiences. Food was exceptional, state rooms always clean and spacious.

Great advice and very reactive to our questions. We were delighted with the trip they recommended. They also supplied us with a very useful online portal full of details about how to plan the trip, what to pack, etc.

Everything about the trip from the beginning was outstanding due to the help we got from Swoop. We got tips on what to pack, etc. Then they matched us with the perfect expedition group and ship. Awesome.

I was more prepared for this trip then any other. They made sure you were prepared so all you would have to do on the trip was enjoy.

The ship was great. Everything worked well in the stateroom. Bathroom and shower were big by ship standards. The staff in the dinning room were delightful. The expedition staff were very diverse and well informed. Eduction highlight.

The zodiac trips were the reason to come. All was perfect. Safe, well organized and a hoot.

Had a great trip, second time I’ve booked with Swoop. They advertise that a second booking gets you a discount and that they don’t inflate prices versus booking directly. They provide a great service and I had a great Antarctica cruise but didn’t receive any second booking discount and paid $2000 more than my cabin mate on the ship (both of us were solo travelers).
