Frustrating but worked out in the end
First off, this company ARE NOT based in the U.K.
I ordered my sword back in July and was told it would take around 30 days to get to me... which was fine considering the current Covid situation which was explained to me.
It arrived (finally) today 25th Sept 2020 after several emails to acquire the tracking number which was never automatically sent to me after purchase (which they state they do on their website under FAQ)
I had to harass them for the tracking info ( i threatened to cancel if they didn't supply it) and literally the week before delivery they finally sent me the DHL tracking info.
I think the company need to be more aware that people require tracking (for piece of mind) and also more communication with their customers.
They take around 2 days to reply to emails, to which i got several replies during the 2 month wait time, it did get frustrating but it turned out fine in the end.
So on to the product itself, i was actually very impressed with the sword, was packed well, has a lovely hand made soft material covering and the actual wooden sheath for the sword was really nice and of premium quality.
The overall product design, weight and aesthetic is really nice and I'm happy with it.
I think if the company are more realistic (and honest) about delivery times then i really think they would stand out as a good supplier of antique weapons.
Would I recommend them? Well.. actually I would, but just be prepared to be patient but also firm with them in order to get the tracking info.
And now i know how best to deal with them i would buy from them again in the future.
Other than that I'm happy!
