The door curtain has oxidized under the paint finish, leaving blistering paint after only 4 years. Quote from SWSUK ''wouldn’t be a warranty claim due to the lack of service record and the general condition of the curtain'', where the curtain is exactly as installed with no damage/scratches/scuffs.
Local installer offered to replace the curtain at a discount, but with a paint finish lifespan of 4 years, why would you?
Very poor customer service.
Would rather replace the entire door than use this company again!!

Problem on going on for 8 months
Sent a sales person out re engineered problem he did not have a clue what he was on about trying to tell me the door works correctly even though it is hitting the box at the top absolutely amazing

We had a roller door fitted December 2020 up un to now we have had no problems ,but I am very disappointed at the quality of the paint finish which is wearing off already ,wether it’s due to the paint quality or build quality ,or,both it is very poor

We inherited two sets of SWS domestic security roller shutters covering our rear patio & back door. Recently we noticed one of them requires servicing, however their web site doesn't recognise our valid post code to direct us to a local fitter.

I've phoned and left messages, but nobody returns the calls :(

On reading reviews of SWS I was more than a little disturbed The Seceuroglide Excel meets Insurance Industry and Police security standards. yet it is poorly constructed from sub-standard materials. Further the installation instructions are vague upon some vital points to meet the LPS 1175 compliance
Taken together. If this is the state of art roller shutter door. All others must be particularly grim indeed

I brought the Seceuroglide roller manual door. The door looks nice enough however I have a number of practical issues: The door dents quite easily though this is an issue with aluminium doors apparently. My main issue is the very cheap lock and the low quality locking mechanism. This involves drilling a hole in the side supports which you then have to line up precisely every time you close the door. This was compounded by the fact I broke the cheap key in the first week and Seceuroglide wanted £30 to supply a blank to be cut by a local key cutter (for a lock that probably cost less than 10% of this).

The inability to open the door from the inside is also a significant problem. I was amazed this basic function was not included. It is so obviously useful function I did not check for it.
