Sycamore Cleaning Service Reviews 

Excellent service from start to finish. We recently moved into a new home and asked Sycamore Cleaning to carry out a deep clean of the bathrooms before we moved in permanently. The whole experience was smooth, professional and genuinely impressive from A to Z. Clair was extremely communicative, friendly and helpful throughout, which made everything very easy for us.

We are very happy with the final result, the bathrooms look and feel fresh, spotless and properly cleaned. It gave us real peace of mind before settling into our new home. We would definitely use Sycamore Cleaning again and highly recommend them to anyone.

Based on my experience I would have no hesitation in recommending Sycamore Cleaning Service. Clair's communication was excellent, cleaning excellent and very fairly priced.

To ensure that this review covers absolutely everything, I am copying a review I posted elsewhere, that details both my initial experiences with Sycamore Cleaning with one off cleans, and then the large nosedive of quality when I hired them as fortnightly cleaners:

Clair and Steven were absolutely amazing, I cannot recommend them enough.
I am disabled with mobility impairments and autism and have been struggling with a very bad depression rut so my bedroom was in an awful state.
Clair responded to my enquiry super quickly, gave a really prompt quote, and delivered an absolutely impeccable service.
As well as removing all of the waste and cleaning my room, all of my clutter and belongings were treated with utmost respect.
They clearly have experience with disabled clients so everything was treated with great kindness and empathy.
5* service all around.

Update August 2023:
I have since gone on to have two more big one off cleans from Clair and Steven, and now I'll be a fortnightly client, so I can confidently say that the high level of service that they provide is incredibly consistent and I'd happily recommend them to anyone.

Update January 2024:
Unfortunately I have had to change my rating and edit this review.
I arranged a fortnightly cleaning contract with Sycamore, however I became less and less enthused by their lack of professionalism.
They rely on customers who work (not work from home like myself) so that they can come and go from properties and not stick to agreed schedules, so I cannot recommend them for anyone who relies on a cleaner sticking to an agreed schedule.
They would frequently arrive and leave late but not notify me until midway through the clean, knowing that I (a disabled wheelchair user) had to arrange my time outside of the house around their cleans, and then went on to blame me for a lack of "flexibility" when I suggested we perhaps change to a later schedule that might fit their consistently late arrival.
An item was broken without notifying me (and when asked, all knowledge denied), items were placed in cupboards in different rooms, objects were reorganised without being asked, items were discarded without being asked, one day I came home to a text telling me that they had shut my cats out of a room without asking me because it was "unhygenic" (I have a very elderly cat), they would give unwarranted far too personal information to explain the several times they would need to reschedule, they never made up for a missed clean that I paid for, they completely forgot a clean they scheduled and I had to rearrange my day for them to come another time.
In short, Sycamore are great for one off cleans (but even then, do be prepared for them to not be on time) or if you are out of your home all day so that they can come and go as they please on their own time, and they do genuinely put a lot of love and care into their work, and they work with an open mind.
But I was very sad to learn over time that they are sorely lacking in professionalism.

I am a sheltered scheme manager in Hethersett and Clair and the team did a really excellent job of an end of tenancy clean on the scheme.
The work was immaculate and the price was highly competitive to what we have experienced before.

Clair was brilliant! She's come twice to do a 'spring' clean of my flat, as I needed help due to health problems. She responded to my email quickly and was able to do the job within a few days both times. She did a fantastic job and really helped me out with some mould/moisture problems. Clair is easy get in touch with and very nice.
She goes the extra mile too - both times she helped me out with tips and tricks, as well as helping with some tools I could use to keep moisture in check.
