Bought Milwaukee Combo kit which Trade Tools had for $13 cheaper including bonus line trimmer. To their credit they matched the price and assured me that marketing would approve the line trimmer bonus... See more

Stay away
Stay away. I received my online order plugged it in and it came straight up with a fault and did not work. Called Sydney Tools and was told the item is used now and cant be replaced needs to be fixed . Worst company ever. Total Tools is the place to buy ALL your tools and equipment .
Purchased online - sold damaged goods
Purchased online gravity feed spray gun. Paid for postage delivery. Received goods in a damaged box and and parts missing. Contacted them and they told me they had another damaged box in the store that they can take some of my missing parts from and give to me. They said I could come and collect it!!! After I had paid for the goods to be delivered, they expect me to drive for 2 hours to collect broken parts. Very poor customer service. I recommend you buy somewhere else. Fair Trade are investigating it - selling damaged goods when they knew they are damaged and not discounted or not stating they are damaged.
My Experience with the north parramatta shop.
My Experience with the north parramatta shop was woeful. Took a Michelin high pressure water blaster product back to repair under warrantee. I took them 8 weeks to repair it. and kept given my excuses why it couldn't be delivered. So the customer service was bad, an then it got even worse when complained about it (they were just being vengeful) I will never buy another product from them ever. Im sorry I hadnt looked them up on trust pilot before I purchase. and seen their shocking rating.
Find another outlet.
The Bayswater, VIC store is a mess and a shambles and the staff have long stopped caring. Online click & collect is woeful, taking weeks to fufil orders that vanish. Find another tool supplier. This one is a dud.
DO NOT PURCHASE ONLINE
I strongly recommend to not buying online anything from Sydney Tools. This is the third time that I purchased some tools and after one month I still didn’t get it and I also don’t have any information about my order. The same problem happened in other orders before. I'm very frustrated with this service.
Sales 10/10; Support 4/10
Update: S.T responded to one of my reviews off line and the case has been resolved, VCAT not required. I have thus adjusted my review title and 'stars' accordingly.
I bought a Michelin pressure washer (exclusive product) from Sydney Tools that failed during warranty. After 4 weeks at Sydney Tools I was advised it was still waiting for repair authorisation. A week later they claimed parts were coming from Sydney and then the parts were probably coming from overseas in a container. I tried to contact HQ that was actively unconcerned and declined to engage. At 10 weeks I contacted the manager [Blackburn Vic] who claimed he has no authority to help a customer and only one person can authorise the repair but is on extended leave. It is apparently still awaiting authorisation. The Australian Consumer Law gives right to a repair in a reasonable time and Consumer Affairs agreed this is no longer reasonable. I’ll be having to take this to VCAT and Sydney Tools is happy for me to have to do that because they know I might go away and their worst downside would be having to refund me, no penalties apply. Think carefully before trading with this company especially if you are a tradie whose income depends on a product supposedly backed by Sydney Tools.
Deceitful Company.
I purchased a Panther Generator from this Pathetic excuse for a company got it home it was faulty returned it this was in the middle of a 24-hour Blackout at my address filled it with fuel and oil Probably $25 out of pocket asked if I could be reimbursed for the oil & fuel got the run around + paid by EFT BIG MISTAKE been waiting 4 business days and still No Refund.
TO TOP THAT OFF I GOT SIDE SWIPED IN MY UTE COMING HOME WITH A WORKING GENERATOR FROM A DIFFERENT COMPANY THAT DAY, IF YOU DON'T WANT BAD LUCK SHOP ELSEWHERE THESE HALFWITS DON'T CARE AT ALL.
IF YOU SHOP WITH THESE PARASITES PRAY NOTHING GOES WRONG WITH WHATEVER YOU PURCHASE.
THEY DON'T REPLY TO EMAILS!! DON'T BOTHER CALLING THESE HALFWITS YOU'LL BE FURIOUS WITH THERE ATTITUDE AND TACTICS.
Never Again.

Purchased a typhoon TE 3500 2.5 KW…
Purchased a typhoon TE 3500 2.5 KW pressure cleaner in August 2021 . Used this machine around 8 or 9 times only to find the machine started to make loud noises and finally died. Talked to the guys at Sydney tools to see if can be repaired or replaced and them saying there is nothing they can do it’s out by 2 months .now i was told by another store there’s 2 years warranty on them .. DO NOT BUY THIS TYPHOON RUBBISH ..They are CRAP …
Useless warranty policy and no straight answers. Timewasters
Useless. Took several weeks to get in contact with me regarding my $350 Fendi compressor not switching on. It's a week, maybe two out of the warranty period and they want a video of the compressor (yes, seriously!) not turning on before they "may" or may not help (as it's barely out of warranty) as it's their "policy" or I can ship the huge thing -at my cost- over east to get it repaired. Can't give me a straight answer if they'll even repair or refund me for it. Crazy. I'm cutting my losses and it's going to scrap metal. Don't buy Fendi products. This thing had maybe a days use all up and is as new. It's a good a a handbag to me now!
Penrith store rudest people on the planet.
Absolute worst people. The 2 times I’ve gone into this store the staff have been offensively rude.
This has to be the worst place ever to go. Don’t go here if your having a bad day they will make you want to end it all. That is how rude these guys are.
Worst customer service ever
Happy to take your money but if there’s a warranty issue good luck. I have a 4 month old $450 Bahco trolley jack here thats stuffed. They already attempted to fix it once (obviously poorly) and having the exact same problem. I’ve called multiple times, been into the store 4 times, emailed multiple people and nothing. I’ve just reported them to the ACCC and will be contacting consumer and business affairs on Monday for further advice as they refuse to refund or replace it.
Dept fair trading
Don't use sydney tools buy at your local hardware or buy online.
Ive had to contact dept fair trading for tools they charge me for and never delivered.
Worst company ever to deal with …
Worst company ever to deal with was trying to get refund on a faulty and discontinued mitre saw. 4 months I made 27 phone calls the lies and none returned phone calls was woeful. Even told me eight times to get refund where I tried to get saw fixed. I will never shop here again I don't even want to give a star only way can post report. Beware of this company . Thanks for nothing Sydney tools Acherfield and online support the 3 managers I spoke too and area manager. Thank you Qld Fair Trade for getting refund
Finally, I found the worst business in Australia!
Once this business has your money you will never see it again. They appear to have an exemption, or so they think from all statutes in Australia, especially fair trading.
I have used their website to purchase items in the past, now use a store close to me, the attraction was purely geographical. Consistently it has been the most unfair unreasonable rude company I have ever encountered in my many years. As you might tell from the reviews on Trustpilot they really don’t care! There are other businesses in Queensland that sell exactly the same thing at the same prices that you should frequent instead of Sydney tools
I shouldn’t have to leave a star, there should be no stars at all, for this company.
Absolutely the WORST online shopping experience.
Absolutely the WORST experience I've had buying online! Their website shows stock levels present for stock they do not have. I bought a welder (or at least thought I did) while they were showing as 6 in stock, after the transaction the stock level was down to 5 in stock, so I thought I had secured it. Received an email stating the welder was being picked for shipping. 4 days pass, I get another email stating they do not have one in their store... Long story short, after several calls to find out what what going on and being told I would receive my order, it took over 2 weeks for them to admit they were not able to fulfil the order, another week to get a refund of MY money.
DO NOT SHOP WITH THESE CROOKS!!!
DO NOT SHOP WITH THESE CROOKS!!!
The only reason I left one star was because I couldn't write this review without leaving at least one.
About a year ago, we bought a RUPES sander. It broke pretty much straight away. They refused a refund or even a replacement, so we got it repaired by them. It happened twice more.
Long story short, as Sydney Tools wouldn't talk to Fair Trading, they advised us to take it court. We lost, because we couldn't prove the sander didn't work. Not qualified to know if it works or not. We don't even have the sander, they do!!!
Please, go anywhere BUT Sydney Tools! Especially the Lismore NSW store! They were rude, arrogant and completely unhelpful. Especially the manager who was always too busy to talk to me.
Simply terrible do not buy from this…
