Online Services Don't Work

Online registration doesn't work and their customer support isn't equipped to handle the cases where their system isn't working.
It wouldn't be such a concern if it wasn't for the fact that the balance needs to be paid each month and going paper incurs an additional cost.

What I don’t understand is how a Bridgestone customer is supposed to get help about a serious problem when the bank that holds Bridgestone cards tell us to call customer service but the call center has nothing but robot acting people who answer the phones & are of absolutely NO help so I reached out to BBB but you refused to answer them!! I live with my son due to being disabled & we have only 1 car which broke down w/ over $4000 of work that needed to be done but not to many people have that kind of money. I know we didn’t between us both so the service manager suggested to apply for a Bridgestone credit card which I did. I was told on that call if we can pay off within 6 months, no interest but after 6 months interest would start. I worked hard trying to pay card off w/in the 6 months but was unable. Not long after my card was charged an extra $300 for the 1st 6 months which absolutely NO ONE told me about that when I applied!! IM NOT GOING TO PAY IT!! Period!! I’m hitting every review platform & social media platform I can to warn everyone about your company!! You do this to people on their worst days when desperate but after it’s been charged on the card, what can customers do? That’s robbing people!! I just saw another review from Bridgestone staff saying this office isn’t open to public. That’s ok, I’m going to get an attorney to fight this and before it’s over, you’ll owe me money!! Bridgestone is not a honest company to deal with!! Customers BEWARE!!

Absolutely hands down the worst credit…

Absolutely hands down the worst credit card company we've ever had to deal with. Without any heads up, they closed 3 separate vendor accounts, all paid off, no balance, never a carry over balance; without so much as a letter or phone call. Now they require 3 new applications, 3 new credit inquiry's, etc... just to try again. Come to find out we're 1 of many with the same issues. Will never so much as spend a dime with them & we're moving our checking & savings as well! Buyer Beware!!!

would not recommend synchrony bank to…anyone financing furniture!!!!!

would not recommend synchrony bank to no one to finance furniture!!!!! supposed to be paid off in 6 months no interest.paid xtra money every month on my card , lot more than was required! payments didnt get here until too late , and they charged 30 dollar late fees about every month on bill! got wise and started sending money in way early so they couldnt charge me! wish i had did a lot sooner!! do not reccomend financing furniture through this bank!!!!

Beware of Synchrony’s Credit practices!!

We have an open account with Home Zone Furniture/Synchrony Financial. I have had the account 16 months and made every payment on time, never late or over the limit. Yesterday I wanted to purchase additional furniture at a cost of $2451. We checked and I had $2000 available credit. The store requested a C/Line increase for the $451 for the sale. In less than 30 seconds Synchrony declined me. This was a shock and embarrassment since we pay our bills on time every month. ** In addition over the last 8 years my husband and I have had several store accounts with Synchrony ALL of which have had perfect pay records!
I tried to speak with Synchrony and met a brick wall - no answers - only “you will receive a letter in 10-14 days” which is not an answer to me. To Synchrony Financial: if you can’t trust me with an additional $451 why should I ever trust you again - at any of the 20+ places you do the financing??? I have asked Home Zone to read up on how you do business and your POOR ratings here, and BBB.

Your customer service process is…

Your customer service process is extremely unfriendly. I received an email from you offering a $70 credit for purchases over $900. I purchased an accordion for my wife from Sweetwater
In the amount of ~$1600. I would like to get the credit applied to my account. No one could help and your automated voice process offers no solution. Please help

I do not trust Synchrony Bank

I do not trust Synchrony Bank, their finance charges are very high and they are a company you cannot work with. I was ill and was unable to make full payments and they refused to work with me. I was told that I had to make the payments there was nothing they could do about it.I saw so many bad reviews about Synchrony Bank on Trustpilot, where people had lost their jobs, and some people were ill and could not make their payments doing covic but Synchrony Bank didn't care, all they wanted was their money. I would not give Synchrony Bank not one good review. Please do not get credit with Synchrony Bank, you will regret it. They are not a very good bank to deal with. They don't care about you, only themselves, to get their money. This is not a good bank to get credit from. I had credit with them with Rooms-To-Go, and thank God I took out insurance, and when I got sick and could not work, the insurance paid off my account. Please don't get credit with Synchrony Bank. fine another bank to deal with. Synchrony is no good people.

Synchrony Bank and their assorted…

Synchrony Bank and their assorted credit cards - unfortunately also associated with the Amazon Prime card - is the worst financial institution I have had the displeasure of doing business with. I'm not a disgruntled customer that owes them money, I'm a disgruntled customer who has had absolutely no luck with their customer service or with payment disputes. I am still waiting, as of 2/11/2022, for a chargeback to show to my account that the merchant processed on January 31st, 2022.

Their websites are a nightmare of popup chat boxes and surveys. Will I use you again? No. Will I recommend you to a friend? No. I might recommend you to an enemy, though.

There are much better credit offers, much better banks out there. Do some research and look at their reviews - Synchrony is terrible.
