You found Synthesia, the search is over!

The partnership with Synthesia has been impressive to say the least since starting to utilize the tools and features they bring to the table. Taking our learning of the tools a step further and joining the Synthesia community events has elevated the way we use Synthesia and the time to complete tasks while still maintaining professionalism through our work. I could not recommend a better product in this space!

The AI system auto rejects your video

The AI system auto rejects your video. I spent 3 hours turning a pitch deck into a video only for it to be autoflagged. I assume this is because numbers were used in the video.

Previously made an instructional video on Synthesia back in 2024 and had a good experience.
This time has been a sensational waste of time.

1 star due to AI auto flagging.

If the team members (the human ones) unblock my video and save my time, I'll leave a review about the platform.

However as it stands. Avoid.

Synthesia’s New Interactive Branching & Dynamic Responses

The live and interactive preview last Friday was highly impressive. Synthesia is making a very smart move by evolving video from a passive, one-way broadcast into an active, two-way conversation.

What Synthesia is Doing Well, The ability to trigger specific avatar responses based on user input completely transforms the viewing experience. It feels personalized and keeps the viewer actively paying attention. completely transforms the viewing experience. It feels personalized and keeps the viewer actively paying attention. This interactive format is perfect for training, onboarding, or sales. Instead of overwhelming a viewer with a long video, allowing them to click through what they need to know and having the video adapt to them is a huge value add.

Behind the scenes, mapping out these interactions eeds to remain visually simple for the creator. A drag-and-drop workflow to build these interactive paths will be essential so creators don't feel overwhelmed.

The Friday Forum provided by Synthesia…

The Friday Forum provided by Synthesia was quite helpful, in fact I used information I learned immediately. I appreciated that the speaker provided not only the "how", but the "why" which makes the material provided even more widely applicable.

I thought the training was very useful

I thought the training was very useful. I've been delivering and creating training for a long time, so it was a nice refresher /motivator to really think about assessment questions. I appreciate you showing how to create questions in Synthesia, but the extra content was appreciated. Good job with delivering the training as well. Thank you.

Just awful - look elsewhere!!

Costs far too much for what it is, awful to use, looks terrible and sounds like old TTS.. robotic and soulless.

They also treat paying customers badly, constantly rejecting videos saying they broke various T&C's even though they didn't. Just a massive pain in the backside all round!

Avoid this platform ,they advertise for…

receipt number (2225-5836)
I signed up for Synthesia’s Starter Monthly plan on Feb 23, 2026 after seeing a 7-day free trial advertised. I requested a refund on Feb 27, 2026, well within their 15-day consumer refund period, but they refused to issue it.

Their support agent, Jimmy, refused to transfer me to a supervisor and clearly didn’t understand the refund policy. I barely used the platform — only tested it briefly — and didn’t export any videos or content.

This experience has been frustrating and misleading. Based on this, I cannot recommend Synthesia. Their advertised free trial and refund policies do not seem to be honored in practice.

I went through the Synthesia Academy…

I went through the Synthesia Academy starter videos, but it's very useful to go over the same material with a different voice and a knowledgeable instructor.

The few glitches that popped up in the webinar demo made it a relatable, 'real' experience.

Red Flag: After some research and reading the reviews, I have serious questions about their "content moderation" policy, as that seems to be a recurring complaint that appears to severely limit the value of this otherwise amazing platform.

Fab Feature Fridays

The Feature Friday webinars and overall Synthesia Community is really useful to learn hints and tips, connect with other authors, and really get the most out of the platform.
