What made the experience great was the presenter demonstrated strong command of the platform, she moved smoothly and confidently throughout. She clearly knew her material and handled audience questions with ease. When certain tasks could not be preformed directly on the platform, she provided practical workarounds to maintain engagement and ensured the content remained accessible.

Great presentation being very basic. It motivated me to create a training video from a legacy PowerPoint. Still a work in progress, but I think more very basic items would help. Learned about the "certificate".

Learning how I can use Synthesia to excel in customer service

The experience was great, as Kristen guided us through some features and answered relevant questions together with her team.

I learned answers to quite a few questions I had with the system because of others asking their own questions. I also learned there is a free certification that I can get.

The trainer was knowledgeable and engaging. As a new Synthesia user and new learning coordinator, this was very helpful and informative. I look forward to attending the next session.

The instructor's expertise. His flow was great. His understanding of structure when creating using his FOCA method helped me immensely as I create my instructional videos.

I had a great experience with Pierre and explaining the notion of video creation with pacing, colour and content as the main focus of their presentation. There was elaboration with questions people had, examples of how to correct common errors and a good motivation vibe to the experience. I'd happily watch with Pierre again.

Their support team is terrible. I spoke to Maurice and literally talked in circles for an hour. Hard to get help. Almost anything I try to generate is against their guidelines and they don't tell you exactly what's against their guidelines. System does not work as expected. I would say after testing out Synthesia and HeyGen... HeyGen is way better.

I’ve given Synthesia.io multiple chances, and the experience has been nothing but frustrating. Their content moderation is inconsistent, subjective, and completely lacking in transparency. I had videos approved, only to have nearly identical versions later flagged without explanation. When I reached out, I received vague responses that provided no real clarity on what was wrong.

The technology itself is extremely limited. Small edits... like swapping an avatar for a picture or correcting pronunciation... cause unnecessary issues and delays. For a platform that markets itself as cutting-edge AI video generation, it feels outdated and unreliable.

What’s worse is the customer support. Instead of offering real solutions, they hide behind policy links and warnings. It feels more like dealing with an automated system than a team that values paying customers.

At this point, I’ve wasted far too much time and energy. If you’re considering this service, don’t. There are better, more transparent, and more reliable platforms out there. Synthesia.io is simply not worth it.

I used their service for mere 2-3 videos and forgot I had put CC, when I pinged them after multiple charges to refund me as I never used their services, not even logged in, they denied me a full refund and gave me only 50% of what I paid to them for 1-2 days of usage

Free credit is very limited. You can't explore it. what i could do was very low quality; i won't pay for it. Rather, i'll try a different one

I just took a look at Synthesia's pricing and it is far beyond absolutely RIDICULOUS! Right now, the 3rd tier is $64 per month which includes 6 hours of video creation for the year. Absolutely crazy.

Synthesia presenters are well prepared and knowledgeable about each subject matter. Feature Fridays are a great way to gain traction into your software. I realize between these moments it is up to me to practice. I love that at the end of the session there was time to dive into addressing other users' needs that were off topic. Wonderful experience overall and I'm dedicated to learn more.

I tried several AI video tools and Synthesia was -by far- the best. The quality is unbelievable! Nothing compares to it. It provided exactly what I wanted from my prompt and it was easy to add music and change a couple of the images. I already paid for the year and cannot wait to make my next video!

It was fun. Explanations were clear. I guess it could get quite technical, but it was easy to follow. And quite exciting to see what it is possible to achieve with Synthesia.

I am just a beginner with Synthesia, discovering it for my teaching profession. I found Synthesia can serve my purpose very well. I have yet to discover the end product in my mind like I want my Avatar should explain map on the screen, yet discovering.
