Never deliver loads to Sysco
I am OTR truck driver. Week ago I got call from my best friend wife saying my best friend pass. Funeral they arrange was Friday April 3 2026. My fleet manager to get me back to Austin area for funeral by picking up load that go to Sysco on Bee braunfel Texas. Appointment was at. 9:00am I got here at 8:00. Told guard I trying yo get in to get unloaded because I got funeral of my best friend at 13:00pm today. He was like sorry to hear that but hear good luck with that. Trying to have faith. I been sitting in. Staging area since 8:00am Just got my dock door at 11:48 it 13:00 pm and they haven’t even started on my truck. The light is still green. I’m so piss the he’ll off 5 hour snd still not unloaded. And I’m missing my best friend funeral. The most unorganized company out of all the company I see. So far. We make effort to get load on time but can’t get unloaded in a timely manner even on emergency such as death amongst family and friend. They don’t take important matter into consideration.
